Asking for clarification is vastly different from phoning and whinging. Needs to get his facts straight before he makes an ass of himself.

Cleary was complaining about coaches going public to manipulate the referees with the intention of suggesting Wayne did so. Wayne shot back - someone leaked his private conversation with the refs about the rules and hinted that it was someone connected with Cleary ( who was a ref consultant.)

The fact that Ivan came out with the allegations about coaches (Wayne in particular) and openly admitted that he does it himself, proves the fact that he’s a HYPOCRITE!!! Ivan definitely did start it!! Kent, your comments are silly. Coaches have to have the chance to consult with the officials to clarify interpretations around the rules. This is not criticising the referees, this is asking, 'What is the interpretation, so we can know what to expect will be ruled against us and the opposition?'

Paul Kent and every other footy expert/commentators has an opinion and that is all it is. Doesn't mean they are right. I respect what he says as it is his god given right and that is what he is paid to do, talk. I don't agree with him on this occasion because I think he has taken things out of context and this is his narrative. Usually I find him reasonable and agreeable. Personally, don't give a crap and don't care. All that matters is Souths has progressed and getting the week off to rest. It is not over until it is over. I mean, as far as most experts/commentators were concerned, they never gave Souths a chance anyway. It was all Storm and Panthers. Losing LM, they said we had no chance without him (but we had no chance with him either remember lol?). No one players carries a team. This is after all a team sport right? Souths have a quality side, when they are on, they can beat any top team, Storm included. Storm are a tough side no doubt but they are not so great that they have won the GF every year. I mean, I'd be impressed if one club can win 3-5 years straight. Win or lose, a true supporter will stand by their team until the end and when the year is over, sulk and suck it up and look to the next year with hope and passion. GGTSS.
