@@grandmaster-grouch I think you misunderstood ElTeslaDeGoku's question. If I'm reading this correct they are asking if can hard wire both batteries with a Y connector, but only run one at a time. @robertmotion4 жыл бұрын
Added 36v 20ah battery and still kept my mudflap in the front by just using longer screws. It has been magical. I barely use the original battery anymore and can average about 35 miles at consistent speeds of 20-25mph without worrying about “Will this drain my battery too much”....and that’s just with the “backup battery”. (Did a speed hack too, following Brian.) Also, I pulled the original battery Anderson connector through the small opening at the bottom of the controller under the seat, zip-tied them to side of frame and voila...:no hanging wires on side or unsightly wires just dangling, keeping the aesthetics of the Super73. It’s a tight fit and takes time to get right but if you are like me and don’t won’t wires hanging everywhere...well worth the effort and end result👌🏾 Anyone looking to upgrade to dual battery and you have a Z1 - invest the extra money and purchase a 36v 20ah battery (~ $346 USD)....you’ll thank yourself later. Increasing your amp-hours is key to “how long can I ride?”, so if u can afford it go with the max amp-hours which is 20ah. Z1 comes stock with a 36v 11.4ah. The difference is night and day!!! Maxing your amp-hours to 20ah, you will definitely notice increase in takeoff, speed duration, mileage range....and more importantly you will increase peace of mind. Ebike are supposed to be all fun!!! Hope this helps someone who was stuck like me. /Bklyn👑

Is that typically how you hook up 2 batteries? I was wondering if you nedd a stronger battery for a bigger motor would you do it like this or is there anyway to run the power together
@briandhoward61374 жыл бұрын
You can run the power together, but the battery must match 100% . I don't like doing it that way but others have. If you go a bigger motor you may need a bigger V battery, the Z1 is a 36v system, if you go bigger you may need a 48-52v battery

Hello, I got my new super 73 z1 and i love it.. I will try this soon... One quick question... did you leave the same seat or you mod the seat too to make it more confortable? because i noticed the seat is super hard!! my butt hurt after few minutes riding lol.... that's my only complain lol...
@briandhoward61374 жыл бұрын

Not looking to rewire it, just looking to throw an extra battery in a back pack or mount it to the bike. Thx again dude.

Your link us misleading. I bought a battery from your link and found there's no charger. The pic shows there's a charger and other peoeple received a charger. The connection head is not even there. its not returnable. you need to remove that link.

This is the first time that I she heard of this happening, also the link is 2 years old. Others have used it in the past and no issues. Also you can buy a charger it's a very simple task. I'll remove the link

I’ve been looking at the Z1, but sitting on the battery, quite literally, is giving me pause. If the pack malfunctions, it doesn’t seem like a super safe spot to be, no? Not trying to go from Mike to Michelle.
