Yes, it's much easier to cut up 2 trucks and do 300 hours of custom work than to replace the transmission in the daily driver. My old Silverado breaks weekly now, im not even exaggerating. Center bearing support 4 weeks ago, all new brake lines 3 weeks ago, 2 weeks ago was the wheel hub/bearing, yesterday was upper control arm and ball joint replacement. None of these are hard repairs right? Not on my truck, every repair except the wheel bearing was 3 x the time it should have taken. Probably doesn't help that I've only got a rusty butter knife, a Gator grip , and a slipping pair of dollar stores channel locks.

Bigger jobs you really do have to just settle down and get one thing done after another, that being said, you can't forget some of the other things and oh now i gotta take this BACK off to do this which i could of done before ect. I find that the hardest part about bigger jobs. The whole collective idea getting every little detail right without being overwhelmed. Love the Kitty and all the other project and builds, most authentic guy on here.

I could be wrong but I feel like Rich just mentioned my situation at 12:25 cuz I just did a vid on the end product of this dash swap. The fan only blew on the drivers side because I used the old OBS ducts with the shell of the SD dash and it just lines up that way however the defrost mode still works the same... And it does rattle a bit going down the road😬... however both issues are a directly Rich’s fault because I only think I can do swaps and fix stuff because I discovered your channel 5 years ago so thanks a lot😆

That intro. is fantastic! :) Being a Ford truck guy, the 6.4 is a blight on the Powerstroke community. ;)

@@aceinternational4788 honestly the 6.0 isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be fix a few issues right away and keep on the maintenance there pretty solid rigs

This truck is as peiced together as my next project will be. Got a 7.3psd that im planing to use in a vintage IH, still dont know how itll pan out since im not ready to start but i got some ideas. My current projects are a 57 IH S112 and a 71 IH Travelall, both will be gas engines. The 57 will be a 3/4ton using GM suspension on IH axles divorced 205 nv4500 and IH 392. The Travelall will use 2020 Jeep JT axles and suspension EFI V8 and EOD of undetermined origin as of yet. Tossed between a 351W and E4OD or 5.9 Magnum and 47RE. Unfortunatly these two projects are linked as parts from one are gunna go into the other
