GTR has much much much stickier extreme performance tires - Dunlops or Bridgestones. On the other hand 911 has basically street PS2's or Pzeros - so it has poor braking and cornering as a result. If on same tires - no chance for GTR.

It's the tires. On the last section of the track, Porsches are always going slow on that section every 4-5 laps on numerous videos. Porsches have bit of understeer so it eats up more on the front tires. Plus, the strong braking and YAW-turning of the GTR is obvious since they started. The GTR doesn't always win. Watch more, rather than say it's fake.

そうなんですか～ ストローク、トルクでの制動力のコントロールとは何ですか？？ ただ、おそらくエンジンブレーキは関係ないかと。。。 この状況ぐらいだと、これ以上ブレーキを強くするとタイヤがロックしてしまうのでは？ こんなこと書いておきながら、あれですけど、 GT-Rの方がコーナリングスピードで勝っているので、コーナーで減速しなければならない量が少ないから、余計にブレーキが良いように見えている気がします。

車重1740kg水野理論が証明されました。 常に4輪に適切なグリップ荷重をかける事により、 トラクションやブレーキング時等の安定性を生み出しているんだろうな。 ただ最高速はパワーウエイトレシオが物を言う為厳しいけど、 その分、中低速域で相当タイムを稼いでいると思います。

I race in amateur events and it seemed like the Porsche threw the 1st position to the Nissan. It was obvious he was braking wayyyyyy too early and way too hard on the straight, he hadnt even approached the corner yet while the Nissan still had full throttle. These comparison videos just lost a lot of credibility.

@@fitfogey why? GT-R started breaking at the same time. They are at high speed and don't want to kill themselves. Porsche is more unstable while breaking and cornering at the same time. Because of the engine on the back. Hence you have to slowdown first then take the corner. GT-R can slowdown while cornering. I'm not saying it because I own a gtr but because I have driven bought on the track. Porsche can get very scary. I believe the fixed it now. Oh and driver plays a big role here. I think GT-R driver had bigger balls.😂

I also love GT-Rs all generations and this video really shows what the gtr is made of, very fast and kicking well above it's price range, sadly this video is from 2011 and the car hasn't changed much since then. The new gtr nismo sure is nice, but it's nearly the opposite of what gtrs used to be, it costs over 200k but would get gapped by newer versions of these cars from the video. The new turbo s is gonna destroy it. Both 370z and gtr are from 2009 and designed in the early 2000s, isn't it time for a change?
