I just realised how much more fun it was for us oldies who learnt to drive in and owned clunky cars. Arthritis has me in an automatic these days, but I miss the manual, actually driving the car, specially on mountainous curves..but maybe that’s something people today miss out on, everything becoming more computer and electronics driven.

Agreed My dad had a premier padmini in which I learnt to drive. He also had two ambassadors I used to drive all the three and enjoyed driving them. When I took up a job I had a premier padmini until 1998.Both these cars are out of production. I have driven and owned automatic cars Nissan Sunny and Mitsubishi Attrage . These are easy to drive with no manual gear changes but I still preferred the old simple Premier padmini and the ambassador. Now I own a Maruti eeco which has a manual steering and manual gears which I like to drive. But still nothing like the premier padmini and the ambassador which had simple carburetor engine no MPFI or ECM like the Maruti eeco has

I had a standard DB4 back in 1972. The clutch gave me a left leg better than Arnie's! Very quick up to about 130 MPH, but you got the impression that it was built by a tractor company, which it was!, As a young man, it was probably the most 'socially successful'' nine months of my life however. The main issue, in the hot country I was living in, was that the oil cooler was not really up to the job. It was also my worst ever investment, I bought it for, in those days $4200.00, which was dearer than a brand new BMW 3.0 saloon, and I sold it for $4260, which was OK. Twenty years later I saw the car again, it had just changed hands for the first time since I sold it, for $189,000!

In 1967, I actually sat in one of the two Aston Martin's used in the movie "Goldfinger"! It was on display at the Abraham & Strauss dept. store for 2-3 days on L.I. NY & had a guard protecting it! After the store closed & the guard left, my employee friend let me sit in it. It had a telephone, G.P.S.screen, machine-gun button, all not working! But, I noticed that the ejector roof panel was quite scratched from when Sean Connery ejected a "bad guy"! I believe that the car was a 1963 model, but very similar to this one & don't think it would have been hard to drive for most drivers then!

Insightful content, Well personally I feel, those who would allow the market dynamism determine when to trade or not are either new in crypto currency world in general or probably just naive, crypto currencies have seen far worse times than this, enlightened traders continue to make good use of the dip and pump even acquiring more equities towards trading sessions, months back I started trading, though i knew just the basics of trading, i wasnt able to capture the secret to understanding the use of signals till I got connected to trading expert Albert math. Under his guide I've been able to understand the market structure and how best to use signals for amazing returns, plus his trading classes has been so educative

But the db4gt is also a circuit car and, according to the original blueprints, has an existing racing gear shift from 1959. To be able to steer and shift correctly, you have to drive at high speed. PS I would think it would be really cool if you would record a video with Jeremy Clarkson. really good content keep it up

Or those old DAF YA-314 army trucks, with the shiftstick behind you in reverse position., nor those old FTFV12 Aircooled Diesel Trucks .. She is right with one thing, modern cars are boring to drive ;)

Exactly like the original, except for the engine, the suspension, brakes, gearbox and carbon fiber seats. As for hard to drive, it's a manual transmission without power steering or power brakes. It's not hard to drive, it just takes more effort. That being said, I wouldn't let this woman drive my 11 yr. old Toyota.

Probably a slight exposure for Austin Martin was from the 1964 James Bond "Goldfinger" where we are introduced to the infamous Austin Martin DB-5 being 90% identical to this DB4-GT.

Jay Leno has probably 50 cars harder to drive. For example the Model T has 3 pedals but no gas pedal, it uses a hand throttle.
