as an American, my only exposure to them was that somewhat annoying "Pumping on Your Stereo" music video so I blame that, though even on that song everything else except the way they chant the song title over and over again was pretty great too, in retrospect.

Supergrass do not get their due as one of the best bands of the 90s. Their music is so fucking good, it truly endures. I’m kind of rediscovering Supergrass at the moment after being a fan in the 90s. The 90s was a truly magical time for music and there were so many great bands but supergrass gets left out of the conversation a lot of the time and they shouldn’t, their songwriting is far beyond most other 90s bands
