I honestly like all of these, even the reboot. The reboot is the first movie that I ever went to the theater and they had removed my showing I had bought a ticket for. I was supposed to be seeing the movie in Cinemark XD, but apparently the presales were so low that they moved it to smaller screens and eliminated that showing.

Always thought that Hellboy would have been better suited as a guest character in a Mortal Kombat game then a Injustice game

The new movie is actually confirmed to follow the Crooked Man Hellboy comic. It's a reboot and isn't attached to the other movies. It is a prequel (takes place before Issue 1 of Hellboy) so you could headcanon it if you want lol

They already confirmed actor Jack Kesy as the new Hellboy so is safe to assume it'll be a new reboot

The Hellboy reboot is a a Mashup of so many Hellboy stories that it looks they tried to appease the fans hating the film even before it was released because Perlman wasn't reprising his role: We had Hellboy in Mexico, Baba Yaga, The Corpse, a little bit of Seed of Destruction, Darkness Calls, The Wild Hunt and The Storm and the Fury.

Hellboy 2 felt so small, especially the troll market. And the whole if one twin dies the other goes was so weak.

If they hadn't killed Broom in the reboot, it could have served as a prequel to the original film.

The Hellboy series should have went the original Batman movies route. Even if they recast everyone just have it still basically be in the same continuity

Haven’t watched the reboot of the animations but the original 2 were a good time but I just can’t see past 80’s bleached blonde GossBros as a credible villain

Absolutely love the first 2 Hellboy movies, never seen the animated ones, not really my thing to be fair. The reboot (sigh) I really wanted to like it, I though David Harbour was really good as HB but it bored me to tears and some of the special effects were awful, that fight at the end with the big bad was terrible, we're talking Playstation 3 levels of CGI. I'm not looking forward to the new one simply because of what the likes of Disney, Marvel, DC and Amazon are doing with everything they bring out right now, building everything around inclusivity and diversity, meaning the story, characters and everything else takes a back seat. We then end up with awful movies with dire writing, painfully annoying characters and special effects that look like they were thrown together at the last minute. I have a feeling the new HB will go the same way, I hope not but I'm not holding my breath. I wish they'd just give it back to Del Toro and let him finish his trilogy, I'd be more than up for that.

I really love the original hellboy movie it got me into the comics as a kid. Knowing more about the lore and characters seeing them show up in the other movies had me jumping from excitement. Didn't watch the 2019 movie. Is it worth watching?

I dodged a serious bullet with the 2019 Hellboy. I loved the old ones with Ron P., so I was going to watch the new one with my 8 year old son. I held off at the last second when I saw it was rated R. I couldn't believe how gruesome that movie turned out. It would have scared my son for life! The movie sucked too.

Hellboy 1 and 2 are amazing. The animated movies are good. The reboot trash. Hopefully the new reboot is way better than the last movie.
