Star Citizen is an open development, crowd funded project from Cloud Imperium. Consisting of 2 games, Squadron 42 a single player, story driven campaign putting you in the middle of the Vanduul attacks as an up and coming UEE Navy pilot, and Star Citizen, a highly detailed
first person MMO set within a persistent universe where there are no limits. This includes, space, and ground aspects, massive spaceships with full interiors and interactions, a full dynamic economy which reacts to the players actions allowing for anything you can imagine.
It is all being built on the StarEngine (a modified version of Amazon's Lumberyard Engine).
Please bare in mind that this is heavily WIP and in an alpha state in which much of the foundational tech to make it a reality is still being developed. Both games do not have set release dates yet but you can play the alpha build for the PU MMO which makes consistent progress
with quarterly patch releases throughout the year.
I am an independent content creator and a fan of the game, I am not paid by Cloud Imperium however I do accept ships from them to giveaway to my community but this will by no means influence my opinion or what I say and believe about the project.

It's the single most mind blowing game and frustrating game all at once. I think it'll be 20 years in development before it's a *chefs kiss*, but even now it can really be fun at times*when it's working.

@@ImBored8141 The major versions that introduce major content / technical revisions usually bring a lot of instability. It always takes a few patches before a version becomes playable again. It's just that Star Citizen needs to move beyond the whole "introduce content/stuff breaks/fix things" loop and instead focus on creating a more stable experience first.

Been looking for off grid videos. I loved living off grid with my FreeMax and Roc. Haven't played for over a year. Just got back in to see 4.01 going to have to haul to get back from my Avenger Titan to the FreeMax. These videos scratch an itch for me lol

I love this play style. We usually just pick a bandit hideout and form a small tactical raid party (all prior military folk here lol) But I think Mac plays this so correctly. I may need to start a Zero to Hero character and take my time getting there, not taking shortcuts to make it easier. Thank you for posting these Mac.

Your videos off grid are everything I would like to do. Especially round Bloom, it gives the feeling of adventure and actual exploration. I would love it if there were hidden places that need to be found that aren't on the map etc.

Not made it to pyro myself yet. Had a game session a week ago and started in stanton and tried to use the jump gate for the first time tried for over an hour and it just wouldn't work. Spoke to people in chat trying to help but nothing worked. Gave up and ended up just enjoying some salvage game play. Will try again next time. (Yes i know i could have started in pyro but wanted to experience my first jump there lol)

Also as life support is not yet active you can hi the heart block in the MFD to turn it off fully and get an extra block

Just requested refund because of that. I tried with rented ships, they spawn so destroyed in hangar that I need to pay double the amount for repairs. I just dont get how people play it as I cannot for my life do it.

@@saltybulldog3241 I wouldn't say they are lies (I've played the game and had great experiences) because he does have trouble too, but it wouldn't surprise me if he was paid by the developers to make these videos. The game defiantly has years of work (probably a decade) before it's remotely playable for the average person and certainly before I could recommend it to anyone.

I love the idea of life in Pyro, but I hate the actual state of life in pyro. Contracts all send you to the same few places and there are tons of griefers just taking down players with infinite missile exploits or simply ramming... once there are hundreds of possible contract locations, life in pyro will be so amazing

game is in all sorts of states these days. picked up a few new players in the org and come to find out one has figured out how to glitch other players on demand. we watched him kill several people in the group and not in the group, killed 5 of us in his immediate team, and hogged all loot lol. player knocking others off their ships into space, knocking others into walls, it gets to be too much. ive seen alot in the game having played the last 5 years, but seeing open glitching, dup'ing rare items, and this glitch he figured out was disheartening, but until they fix such issues and ban those doing them it'll continue to be a wild wild west.

Not fully done verifying yet, but from the description text those scorched compensators at least claim to give better stats than the normal ones. make sure you dont sell them too cheap

Are you moving in the new quicksand? Can't tell if it's performance or how the game is supposed to be played but it looks like it's taking you 10 minutes to complete a task that should only take you 3 minutes. Do the devs not respect your time?

He’s just walking slowly. You can change your walking speed with mouse wheel and I am assuming that’s what he’s doing

Is he advertising the game? Or playing it in a semi-scripted way? Don't get me wrong I agree with you I can't refuel my ship without some struggles, (which he explains he is having a problem with too)
