Well the Cass accent is fake. Jimmy is his real voice. He actually regretted using the deep voice, he has said many times. But he was supposed to do only one or two episodes. I've met him many times a several Supernatural conventions. He's very funny and charming, and he's not even a show favorite of mine.

That was actually uncanny how easily he could imitate Mark Pellegrino's tone and accent and everything (and I'm not even talking about his body language and facial expressions). Same thing in season 13 when he's in the Empty and the Cosmic Entity takes on his form so they can talk, the speech pattern was just so unnatural and it was amazing.

That dinner scene where Jimmy never says grace made me cry lol. He was a devout man, that's why Cas chose him, but seeing him look like he lost his faith, yet happy that he's finally back with his family, tore me into pieces. I truly love that scene.

This shit was gas. Honestly top tier this season. I've always loved the angel mind-entering scenes. Something about it is just badass. I love Cas, and Jimmy Novak, but the real props go to Misha Collins for the phenomenal acting. The switch-ups he did here were great. Cool to see Anna again. And she noticed that something's wrong with Sam, 'cause he's a D-blood crackhead. Everything about that final fight was just awesome. When Cas left the boys to go back to serving Heaven like a good, little angel, it can seem a little annoying, but it made sense, and was pretty understandable. And of course, we have the ep's ending, where Sam ends up getting trapped by Dean and Bobby in the panic room. That's what happens when you go full crackhead D-blood junkie. Great reaction guys, really hyped for the last two of the season! 💯🔥

I think Dean was a daddy’s boy in that he idolized him while growing up, maybe as a defense mechanism?, but as he grew older (and maybe his experience with raising Sam) Dean realized where John dropped the ball.

So much happened in this episode! 1st time Dean witnessed Sam drinking demon blood. Misha Collins, who plays Castiel/Jimmy Novak, is a fantastic actor, especially when it comes to accents. Y'all still think that Dean idolized John? When he was younger, yes, but the older he got, he became disillusioned with John. Go back and watch "Dream a Little Dream of Me" (3x10), when Dean is yelling at Dream Dean about John, he was saying how he truly felt about him and nothing in that was complimentary. So yes, Dean loved and respected his father, but he no longer had him up on a pedestal. Anyway, as far as this episode goes, I liked that we got a backstory to how Jimmy became Castiel's vessel; we got to see how Sam is with his lack of demon blood, which is acting like an addict, or as you guys put it, acting like a crackhead (there has to be a world record set for how many times you guys said crackhead in this one video); and if y'all hadn't noticed, Dean is actually coming around to Sam's powers. Of course, that was before he found out how he powers up, but that led to a great cliffhanger with Dean and Bobby locking Sam in the panic room.

Yes and no, if you pay attention to how he said it, he never said it wasn’t real, he was basically saying that he no longer believed in a greater plan of god and that god is great. He was basically just saying that he no longer saw god and angels in the same light but never exactly said that they weren’t real. He just worded it to seem as though, that is what he was saying

What I hate about season 4 is everyone kinda ignore Sam's pov and how he feels. I think a big reason for that is we never really got a scene from Sam where he explains his side. We always get that with Dean.. We always see Dean's emotions and outbursts. Also Sam not telling Dean about this was completely justifiable because Dean always treated anything supernatural as an abomination. His looks at Sam when Sam has his visions, calling him a freak and telling him he'd hunt him down if he didn't know him etc are downright made Sam's lack of trust in his big brother. But everyone tend to not see that. It's really sad.

What pisses me off about Sam this season is that when Dean came back from Hell, the very first thing Sam did was lie to him, twice. Firstly he pretends that Ruby is some girl he just picked up and that he doesn't even remember her name, and then when Dean asks where Ruby is Sam said she was dead. And when he asked him if he's been practicing his mind stuff, Sam lies to his face and says "You didn't want me to go down that road, so I didn't go down that road" So basically Sam deliberately chose a demon over his brother, when he knew that Dean had just spent '3 months' in Hell being tortured by demons. I'm glad my brother doesn't love me that much.

@@mystmagyk3101 this is exactly what I mean.. Nobody tries to see where Sam is coming from.. Tell me one time Dean hadn't given Sam a hard time about his psychic abilities?? He always sees things as black and white.. By the time Dean came back from hell, Sam was already kind of an addict. Dean's behavior toward the whole situation was quite not helpful in that case. I'm not saying Sam was right but him not telling Dean was completely understandable to me.

@@multifandomtribe9554 And why shouldn't Dean be against Sam using his abilities? They were obviously demon related, and Sam has known since S02E21 that they were given to him by YED. In S04E03 Angels start telling Sam that what he's doing is wrong. Throughout the season, Pamela, Chuck and Dean have told him it's wrong, but Sam knows best. But above all that, Dean went to Hell because he wanted to save Sam. You can say all you want about Sam not asking to be saved, or how Dean did it because he didn't want to be alone. But however you look at it, Sam owed Dean a little respect and gratitude, and the ONLY thing he asked was that Sam not use those powers. So as soon as Dean is gone, being tortured by demons, Sam takes up with a demon and does the one thing Dean asked him not to do. And as soon as Dean's back, Sam lies to him, repeatedly.

So ofc he wasn't gonna care about how he did it as long as he killed Lilith even maybe hoping he'd die in the process. And by the time Dean was back he was already addicted and because of Dean's attitude towards his psychic powers and also due to fear of losing Dean again and disappointing him, he lied. I told you I am not saying Sam is right to do so but I understand why he's doing it. And angels were always shady sobs from the start. I wouldn't have believed them either.

Going back to that thing where Dean said that Sam's just like John and Dean added "you can take that however you want". That was not a compliment. I don't remember the exact point, but after John's death, we've come to understand that Dean genuinely resents, possible even HATES John due to the way he forced so much responsibility on him during his childhood. The best example I can think of off the top of my head is the episode on season 3 where Dean is confronted by himself in a nightmare and shoots the other version of himself after he goes off on a berserk rant about how his dad was a failure, about how he didn't deserve to have all that crap put on him, and how Dean knows that he's a better man and even blames John deep down for his mom's death. At this point, we know that Dean not only doesn't see John as a good father, but not even a good person.

I disagree. I don't believe Dean hates his father. He just doesn't idealize him anymore. Most people put their parents on a pedestal to a extent until they get older and realize their parents are human and flawed. Doesn't mean you hate them but you can absolutely resent and be angry at the choices they made while raising you.

Dean of course was speaking out of anger and because it's his father he will naturally believe his father should've been able to protect his mother. Sadly that wasn't their reality. Especially since her death happened before he discovered the supernatural forces that caused it.

I think it's important to remember that angels haven't been to earth in 2,000yrs (according to Cas in 4x02) his little head tilt makes sense if he hadn't seen a human in thousands of years. Besides, it's rather polite he took the time to let his vessel's daughter know he wasn't Jimmy. You can't picture Uriel having done that for his own vessel's family. Cas doesn't haven great social skills, but I dont think he meant to be cruel

Ruby has Sam addicted just like drugs. I don't trust her! Angels need permission to take possession of your body. Demons don't. Cass couldn't tell his wife what really happened, she already thinks he's cuckoo. When the wife wasn't at the Impala right away with everyone, I knew she got infected with the demon! Funny!! You got were so surprised you were frozen! Jimmy was Father of the Year...he wanted Claire to have a normal life. He gave himself for his daughter. I guess Cass got in trouble in Heaven.
