The two day swap isn't really sufficient to get people hungry or spark an appetite, I prefer it was a couple of days longer like the older series.
@parrotarts46374 жыл бұрын
Any longer can cause health and mental health issues. It’s not healthy for the super skinny to stuff that much and nor is it healthy for the super sizer to eat so little. You can’t go cold-turkey like that and it’s why recovering from an eating disorder can take 6 years. It takes lots of time
@parrotarts46374 жыл бұрын
And the swap isn’t really meant to spark an appetite/cause hunger. It’s meant more for them to realize “I’m eating way too much” or “I’m not eating enough”. It’s more of a mental challenge to get them to realize that what they’re doing isn’t healthy
@parrotarts46374 жыл бұрын

To me, it seems the Supersize people lose weight easier than superskinny people gaining weight.
@chocobotaxi45065 жыл бұрын
They do! Skinny people can't just eat highly caloric things to gain weight and then switch to healthy food, that'd be a recipe for disaster, and eating a lot over what they need in calories would be a bit tricky too, so the rate at which they gain weight is pretty good. As for the Supersize people, they end up eating fewer calories than someone a healthy weight should eat and since they are obese, their body requires more calories just to move and for the heart to beat, so they lose weight very quickly at the beginning since they have a higher than average caloric need and a lower than required calories intake :)
@chloejennings87025 жыл бұрын
It's easier when you are making changes like going from 2000 calorie meals to a balanced and healthy diet, you're going to lose weight quickly. When gaining weight they are going from healthy and small or not a lot to just a slightly higher calorie intake so the weight goes on slower

@@byebyebae I can see how this would be strange from a straight person's point of view. A lot of LGBT people grew up seeing little to no representation of themselves in media, or media would use LGBT characters as comic relief instead of having them be authentic. It's very humanizing to see LGBT people existing in media without being the butt of the joke. Straight people wouldn't have the same reactions to seeing other straight couples because they're pretty much everywhere and have been normalized for their entire lives. Hope that clears it up a bit!

what is this man's obsession with garlic bread? I'm a fat lass and I love garlic bread but he's out here eating it for every damn meal!

Like none of them have scales at home! They all act surprised, but you know they've been weighing themselves at home the entire time until the final weigh-in! Ha ha. Nathan's gran is so sweet!!

That super sizer needs to give him a break. Sometimes you can get sick of eating the same types of things and when you get given something completely different, it’s easier to eat.

Am I the only one who’s rather skinny but can easily plow through a whole pizza? Like I’m 7stone and I can devour a whole pizza if I’m hungry enough
@winona-rose61945 жыл бұрын
It depends on your metabolism, these super skin's diets are very small so their metabolism has slowed down a lot. You probably just have a high metabolic rate.

I was like that when i was 16, could scoff a pizza, garlic bread and chocolate fudge cake slice, and i didn't put on an ounce.. wish i was still like that now. I've ended up twice what i should weigh, although i am now dieting and exercising. Have lost 2 stone so far

Emma’s a bit rude to June tho. She knows what she’s doing isn’t right but calling it disgusting and saying she wouldn’t feed it to her dog right after she says she feeds her kids similar things

Jo is so pretty! So so pretty. It's heartbreaking to hear her hating on herself so much. I hope she'll find the strenght to change her life around. It's not a life if you are this unhappy with yourself.

It's always kinda eye opening though. The UK is in a crisis at a huge scale, and the fact that America is the future of that crisis should be enough to open the eyes of everyone. But it hasn't. The ignorance.

Jo has lost only 4lb in a year??? Obviously not completely sticking to a healthy diet! At her size she should have lost at the very least 1lb a week!
@nikkijane375 жыл бұрын
She weighed 22st 12lb after her 8 week eating plan. In the catch up video ( after a year ) she got on the scales and weighed 22st 9lb so my math was originally wrong....she lost 3lb in a year!
@Shinisoup5 жыл бұрын
She's full of it, obviously didn't make the changes she said she did. She could've lost that amount in a week!

Nathan was completely right. Theres a big difference between regular full and sweets full. Chris was being kinda rude and making no effort to understand where nathan was coming from...

The supersize guy was insensitive and actually quite rude. He can’t understand how the superskinny one feels so he shouldn’t be so critical!
