It has been a busy end to the week

Dan when I was in grade school and middle school I had an assistant principal who was a terrific gentleman. In the late seventies, he had enough of kids a became an owner-operator. One night over by Chicago he had pulled over while it was raining to refasten his tarp and he fell off the truck hitting his head and later that night he passed away. It is good that you recognize that situation and pray you and all the other truckers will always be safe out there!

started driving trucks when I was 24, now on the down hill side to 70. Did alot of tarping. wasnt a minute went by that I stopped thinking! sure would suck if I feel off this! But I never did! retired at 65 with a bad back bad shoulders bad neck bad knees. stay safe Dan.

People may not appreciate a good tarp job unless they have had to tarp a load themselves, I didn't until I started flatbedding, now I find myself looking at other drivers tarp jobs and when I see a really good one I give the driver a big thumbs up! Lol

Dan, As you know, need to be super careful when walking on top of a load when tarping. We had a driver fall and break his leg. He was 1200 miles from home. I think of that whenever I see someone on top of a load.......
