Wow. Only 3 minutes into it and you hit the nail on the head on garlic. A Lyme disease doctor told us to smash the garlic but wait 10 minutes before consuming. We’ve been doing that for 4 years with each of our meals. The first year we weren’t used to it and would run around the house screaming because fresh garlic after a 10 minute wait is quite a shock but we now look forward to it and it seldom drives us crazy anymore. We have a garlic station set-up to speed up the preparation. I know . . . we need to get a life!

I can remember 50 year's back going to meet my dad on his lunch break. He was a butcher at our local store. I would stop in on my way to a friends house and try to sneak around so he couldn't see me so I could watch him cutting up all the different cuts like roast, filets and so on and in between he would spend a couple of seconds sharpening the knife he was going to use on his next cuts. He was truly a master at it he would say he could do it in his sleep. He would eventually see me mostly because a store employee would see me and all the rave would go down it was cool though because by the time I left the store I was stalked up on all the best fruit the store had and juices were in there to. No candy or soda ever came my way times were a lot different then the area around San Jose way back was all farm land mostly fruit trees for miles...anyway I have gotten off corse so my dad would go out to his truck to have lunch now this is 12 noon his lunch would be a purple onion, bread and sardines. Oh man I am not kidding he would eat the onion like a apple then through the sardines between two pieces of bread chow all that down and while chugging on some olive oil to wash it down. Wow I was blown away every time needles to say that was time for me to go. It was a nightmare for the other butchers they would pick straws to see who would work the table next to dad for the rest of the day the stench was out of control my dad would just laugh because he new that usually the guys would pitch in and buy him lunch for the next week or so and if you were new and were about to start working as a butcher there the crew would secretly take bets on how long the rookie would last ha ha the good old days. Sorry for the long text all these health foods struck a great memory Thanks dad I miss yah!

I read that along with all the other nutrients discussed in this video, Vitamin K is extremely important to help with bone strength but also to help keep the arteries healthy, soft and clear. Vitamin K comes in different versions that do different things in the body. Vitamin K1 comes mostly from fresh leafy greens. It helps to clot the blood but does little to clean the arteries. Vitamin K2 comes from foods like Natto (a fermented soybean) which is one of the richest sources. K2 is also present in other foods but not nearly as much as Natto. Many medical studies conclude that K2 helps to prevent Athersclerosis by working with Vitamin D3, Magnesium and other nutrients to take Calcium out of the blood to keep it from redepositing into the inner walls of the arteries. Usually, the human body turns some of the K1 from leafy greens in K2 but not enough in many cases. Vitamin K2 is available at health food stores in versions MK-4 and MK-7. Some people recommend MK-7 K2 over MK4 K2. MK-7 K2 comes from Natto. I guess to play it safe, one could take both!

He has a blockage that drs are skeptical about performing interventional or surgery. He was diagnosed with Stage 2 prostate cancer several years ago. He chose radiation therapy; however, as a result, he developed dementia secondary to radiation treatment. He is weak and sleeps the majority of the day. His appetite is good, but he has no real energy. Please, do NOT disappoint me by not responding, Dr. Mandel!😢 I also follow you on TikTok, as I LOVE your short commentaries.
