I was so against getting the Mary El for the longest time but it kept being offered to me randomly. Finally when Erika got the second edition, she sent it my way and wow. That deck goes so deep. I mainly use it for shadow work but it's incredible. The Star tarot is another favorite of mine if not just for the art work but also for the guidebook as well. Dark Goddess is another favorite of mine as it's hit sort of everything I had hoped for from a goddess deck. I use it in a very similar way as you know. I have the Tabula Mundi as well and I am really looking forward to diving into that one. I love the artwork. I have to say, I am surprised Oracle of Echoes isn't in this category.

I have the second edition 5mass-produced) Mary-El, but I printed off copies of the original cards because I found them particularly meaningful as well

I just got the W.U. Archetypes deck - there is definitely something special about that deck. I believe that the blurriness in the picture on the back of the deck is intentional. Sometimes we need to lose sight or refocus our energy in order to see clearly. Being that it's a diamond makes an even deeper point as one of the healing properties of a diamond is clear vision.

The Pholarchos Tarot has been on my list for the LONGEST time I feel like it's gonna be a great working deck but it's great to hear your thoughts on it. I'm looking forwards to the Dark Goddess Tarot coming out -- can't decide still because depth year. The Weaver's Oracle looks really overwhelming and perfect.

Yep, I sold my first edition Mary-El and got the second only to regret it later. Definitely miss the original cards. I love my ToC! Ellen has a Tarot of the Crone Playbook available for download from her site that you might like to add to your dark moon practice. I think it’s great and really enjoy using it. I haven’t gotten into my Tabula Mundi yet either. A deep dive study group perhaps? Maybe after the rune study is over? 😉

That Thoth deck looks so much nicer than any I've seen so far! I was interested in being interested in the system XD but I looked at all the decks the searched showed and I didn't like any of them. But yours looks actually nice! Good to know! I also did some deck interviews today (cos I didn't know this was a thing) and I didn't get past the Dark Mirror Oracle because it made me all emotional and teary eyes X;D so yeah, it's gonna be good for what I picked it up, which is shadow work. :) Thank you for the informative video as always! I received the Mary-El tarot this week and SO disappointed with the quality I actually emailed them. They've been edged in glittery silver which comes off all over my hands and the deck. The cardstock is horrible and the way it's been cut the edges of the back was really sharp - I spent several hours using a spoon to sort of burnish the edges to flatten them. I've received better quality for a lot less money!!

I haven't intuitively felt called to pull it for a client reading, yet. I would if I felt called or if it were requested. I have done a lot of self-readings with that deck and have read for family with it. :)

It's in the Facebook group! :) And we don't manage it so it's very much an 'at your own risk' kinda deal.
