Sick mod, but wouldn't people just rush to build as many tier 1 experimental units as they could? Seems kinda broken, unless I'm missing something

SubatomicSeal tier 1 experimental are probably pretty weak, or just overly single function units. So the mobile fortress I'm guessing is probably nothing on the fatboy and is removable by a couple of tier 2's or just a really small army of tier 1's Edit: I stand heavily corrected after watching the video XD

No because that's not how experimentals work. In terms of efficiency standard units are pretty much always better and I'd be willing to bet an equal cost amount of T1 tanks/mantis would win in a straight up fight against that UEF T1 exp. The advantage of experimentals is in how you use them, that UEF T1 exp is basically a small fatboy, which means good for long range defense and siege warfare, but poor in a CQB. Spamming T1 exp is probably just as risky as spamming standard T1 as well, go in too deep without killing your enemy and they could just come back at you with T2 exp or standard units and kick your ass with some nice juicy wrecks to reclaim.

Can anyone tell me how to get this game and how and where mods are compatible? Does the steam version allow mods? Plz help. I had this game back when it dropped in 07 but my pu**y computer couldn't handle it so I rolled with total annihilation, command and conquer, star craft etc. I know this is the best rts game and I haven't even played it.

blaydemastah Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance is best. Search that on Facebook, they are good people. My FA has LAN and has better graphics than SC-2.

The UEF Tech 1 Mobile Fortress has to be one of the worst looking units in any strategy game/mod ever. Hideously ugly. Everything else looks pretty neat though.
