i really appreciate someone that shows what brands they use, EVEN IF NOT SPONSORED. nobody is doing that these days. The brand of beans and sauces you use definetly impacts your final products. so thank you!

Mike: 27 years Army Infantry and yep; I could not cook to save my life, but this channel, the kind people here, Kent and so on have helped me get healthier, happier with my meals and the company whether it is online or not is genuinely good people. One of the few sites you never see a bad comment or rudeness and it's Kent/Karma. Good luck to you Mike Young.

What a great channel Kent is just so warm and welcoming The man loves cooking and you can feel the passion The doggies are adorable and all the food looks amazing It’s just hearty and comforting food that makes your mouth water I love the outdoor setup too He makes it looks easy and simple but he has put in a lot of work He has a huge wood stove sitting in a field! The amount of shopping, prep work and setup goes to show how passionate he is So glad I stumbled on this channel I don’t know if I like the nachos or Salisbury Steak recipe better I used to love those Hungry Mans as a kid

Thank you Kent and Shannon for bringing happiness and yummy outdoor cooking into my life for another year. It's been two years now that I have been watching your channel and there is no other thing I look forward to most than a notification that you have posted another video on youtube. One of my Christmas presents was your latest book, "Faith, Family and the feast" that now sits with "A Taste of Cowboy". I wish you both the best for 2021 and cannot wait for all your videos that will no doubt get me trying to duplicate all the dishes that you so merrily serve up on a weekly basis. Our New Years eve meals were all cooked in cast iron outside last night inspired by yourself. I live in the UK and the neighbours think I'm crazy cooking outdoors on a cold December evening.... Who cares...... BTW, Oklahoma sure does look pretty over your shoulder. As always. Happy and a Blessed New year.

well both canned beans, and possibly more so the black beans depending upon your brand, put some weird stuff in their solutions. it's thicker than water. I always prefer to soak my raw, dried beans the night before a cooking all night in salt water. but for the rare times I use canned beans, i definitely rinse them, and twice may not be a bad idea.

I thought I was the only crazy individual when cooking, great looking nachos. Ever thought of using Skirt steak?

In my kitchen, Natcho’s are kind of a universal meal, I cook everything, fins, feathers, hoofs, or whatever, on my charcoal grill, or in my stick burner offset smoker, and will use anything leftover for next day meals! I’ve not tried this particular recipe, but I have a pork shoulder in the refrigerator right now and I’m planning on having first, pulled pork sandwiches, then probably Mac&Cheese with a generous amount of pork and other mystery ingredients, a skillet full of Natcho’s with said pork, and then perhaps another round of sandwiches. The authentic flavor of real smoke is hard to beat!

@@chriscarter7182 Definitely nothing beats grilling, can't beat that smoke flavor.

Its been a while since I replied to one of your recipes. This one was pretty spectacular. We’ve done made about a dozen of your recipes. This one... well after it was made I just stood there and shook my head and thought there ain’t no way we are eating this much food it was 4 of us, well it all disappeared. It was unique in that the honey and liquid smoke added a sweet and Smokey flavor that was just the right amount of both. Thanks again

I have to confess that for a split second I was in doubt if it was pure joy or if he possibly overdid it with the good hot stuff and the jalapenos got him. But na, impossible, must have been joy.

Kent and Shannon thanks for all you do. Love your program (now I really want Nachos!). Most of all thank you for always remembering the armed forces. Appreciated it when my son was in the Navy (retired). Now, I have a Grandson in the Navy and in a few months another Grandson will be in the Army. Please keep remembering them; it helps all of us who have family in the military. A Happy New Year to the two of you and all of your kith and kin (also to Beagle and Duke).
