It's been two years now that I have been watching your channel and there is no other thing I look forward to most than a notification that you have posted another video on youtube. One of my Christmas presents was your latest book, "Faith, Family and the feast" that now sits with "A Taste of Cowboy". I wish you both the best for 2021 and cannot wait for all your videos that will no doubt get me trying to duplicate all the dishes that you so merrily serve up on a weekly basis. Our New Years eve meals were all cooked in cast iron outside last night inspired by yourself. I live in the UK and the neighbours think I'm crazy cooking outdoors on a cold December evening.... Who cares...... BTW, Oklahoma sure does look pretty over your shoulder. As always. Happy and a Blessed New year.

@Sean-pc8zs3 жыл бұрын
well both canned beans, and possibly more so the black beans depending upon your brand, put some weird stuff in their solutions. it's thicker than water. I always prefer to soak my raw, dried beans the night before a cooking all night in salt water. but for the rare times I use canned beans, i definitely rinse them, and twice may not be a bad idea.

In my kitchen, Natcho’s are kind of a universal meal, I cook everything, fins, feathers, hoofs, or whatever, on my charcoal grill, or in my stick burner offset smoker, and will use anything leftover for next day meals! I’ve not tried this particular recipe, but I have a pork shoulder in the refrigerator right now and I’m planning on having first, pulled pork sandwiches, then probably Mac&Cheese with a generous amount of pork and other mystery ingredients, a skillet full of Natcho’s with said pork, and then perhaps another round of sandwiches. The authentic flavor of real smoke is hard to beat!
