Two things Toyota needs to do to XSE….move the wireless charger from the armrest to the pocket just in front of the center console….and add the exhaust to the left side to complete the look…it would attract more buyers

Agree with the charger. What they were thinking? Have it for a month and already almost got into an accident because of that. Another thing I would add - should beep if get to close to anything. Just a camera is not enough, especially at night, rain etc. Don’t want to run over my dog when backing up. I hope it’s there and I need to find out how to activate it.

The XSE needs to offer cooled seats. I would have traded my Highlander Limited on an XSE if it had offered this.

I rented a 2019 Toyota 4Runner that had ports similar to these, and only USB-C's in the back. Weird back then, commonplace now.

This model looks so much nicer on the outside, but why so many Highlander models? Want a bigger screen, you have to step into the Platinum model. You like the look of the XSE, but want the bigger screen, too bad. Toyota needs to stop nickel n diming with so many models and configurations. I’ll pass on Highlander all together cause I like the XSE a lot , but not the lack of features I’d want from the Platinum. I don’t like the look of the Platinum as much.

I'm in the same boat as you. Toyota needs to do what they did with the Camry, offer the highest level trim with the sport styling for people like us that want the sport styling but want the features of the high end one....🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️. Makes me consider all the more getting a Grand Cherokee because I can get pretty much any styling I want with the features I want and I can pick and choose what I want. Toyota doesn't have to let us pick and choose but at least let us get the sport styling with the high end options

Another great Toyota update video Marcello! BTW #1... Your "Old School USB" is called USB-A and you finally did mention the newer connector as USB-C. :-) BTW #2... I'm wondering if Toyota Dealers have some type of special access into Toyota Customer Service to ask detailed questions instead of having to search the web like the rest of us to find answers? For example, what is the wattage output for the different USB ports for those wondering how long a charge might take or whether they can charge a PC via USB-C? I know a field test would give approximate answers but often engineering specifications are more helpful. Just wondering! :-) Thanks!

Yes I noticed the USB-Cs in a 2022 Highlander Limited today. Surprisingly, the 2022 Venza still has all USB-A ports. Odd for such a new high tech model. USB-C is better. It can be plugged in either way. And it often charges phones faster.

2022 XLE does NOT come with heated steering wheel in the US!!! Suuuckssssss! Almost returned it after I found that out. Sooooo disappointing! Will you trade it with me for a Canadian version?

Hi , question for you I’m looking at a platinum model , the tow hitch is an expensive option at 1650$. My question is, do you keep the same bumper accent and does it afffect the kick open of the hatch. ? It looks like in the US it is a factory install and not a dealer install and comes with a specific bumper cover with a kick option on the side.
