Toyota hybrid purchase cost is shocking more like. There's no way you'd make back the extra cost in fuel savings, and certainly not maintenance when you need to buy a new battery every 10yrs.

Toyota dealerships inflating the pricing have turned me off from the brand.

Ich würde auf jeden Fall auf das neue Modell warten. Denn,das neue Modell wird 100% sicher,die Änderungen haben,was dem Motor-Getriebe angeht,vom Camry übernehmen. Im Prinzip Hybridsystem der Generation 5. Es ist wirklich ein sehr großer Unterschied zwischen Hybrid 4 und Hybrid 5. Ich bin den Corolla gefahren und der Unterschied ist tatsächlich sehr beeindruckend. Ich fuhr früher den Corolla2.0 Hybrid und den ich als Leihwagen vor paar Tagen hatte war der 1.8 Hybrid Facelift,also mit der neuen Hybridgeneration. Der Moror dreht sehr leichtfüßig,ist ruhiger und sparsamer und das Getriebe harmoniert viel besser jetzt mit dem Motor. Aber zurück zum alten RAV 4 den ich jetzt fahre. Modell 2023 Facelift. Ich bin sehr enttäuschend vor allem über die sehr schlechten Geräuschdämmung!!!!! Für ein Fahrzeug diese Kategorie und Preisklasse ein absolutes No-Go!!!! Allein nur deswegen kann ich wirklich nicht verstehen,wie der RAV 4 so erfolgreich ist. Außerdem trotz Facelift,ich habe zwar das neue Multimedia aber immernoch für Android per Kabel!!!!! Paar Wochen später haben meine Kollegen (Taxi) per Bluetooth. FRECHHEIT!!!!! Und der Luftdruck wird bei meinem immer noch wie beim alten gezeigt und nicht separat für jeden Reifen .Auch paar Wochen später bei meiner Kollegen,das neueste drauf!!!! FRECHHEIT!!!! Und für so ein teureres Fahrzeug, muß noch einiges getan werden damit es Konkurrenzfähig bleibt. Denn,die Konkurrenz aus Kina kommt richtig schnell und gewaltig!!!!!

Respectfully the highlander has served it's purpose and especially during the stop sale of the grand highlander. But I think it's time to drop the regular highlander in general. It's not much less expensive than the grand highlander. Truthfully I say get rid of the regular one and rebadge the grand highlander as a just the highlander. There's no point for the regular one when the grand highlander is almost better in every way. Just my opinion.

You should NOT buy a hybrid if you font drive much , as the battery will fail and would cost you $$ for a new one , they are meant to be driven sll the time , if you dont drive much , regular gas is the better option

It does not fit men. The console is way too big, and there is no room. Also, the 4-cyl Hybrid is not a preferred motor for the LC model.

Hybrid models are only worth it if you're doing mostly city driving. Open road driving - there's not gonna be much, if any, difference between the gas model and the hybrid when it comes to mileage. I do a minimum of 12,000 miles freeway driving every year - put me in for the 2024/2025 gas RAV4.

Toyota Canadá is pushing its loyal customers to its competitors with ridiculous wait time for hybrid models... And now we have good alternatives in Honda, Mazda, etc. The price Toyota Canada will pay for giving all its inventory to US, letting Canadians waiting sometimes years to get a new car.

Looks like they didn’t want to change the instrument panel so they stuck the center screen on top And Too Far Away . Their websites Sukk .

Toyota is loosing ground on quality. We have 2019, 2020 and 2021 RAV4 hybrids , we have had a wiring harness failure on the 2020 ( left us stranded without a vehicle for a few days) 12 volt battery failure on the 2020, the 2019 is going into have the roof repaired and repainted because of corrosion issues, 2019 wheel bearing failure ($1500). All three are seriously noisy on the highway compared to the Mazda. It seems you can just go to a Toyota dealer and buy a new RAV4 hybrid. The best of the bunch is our 2016 Corolla which has been flawless but those days are over.

You're a fool if you buy a used hybrid. The batteries need to be replace under 200,000 miles which is very bad for people with long work commute and the batteries cost thousands! Also remember it's not full EV. You still have ALLLLL the same maintenence cost for your internal combustion engine and parts breaking down. With hybrid is more cost on top of your already expensive ICE!

I am waiting on my 2025 Toyota RAV4 XSE, placed the deposit in October. Once again, RAV4's are flying off the lots before they are built.

I have owned both Toyota and Mazda vehicles and now that Mazda has a Toyota hybrid engine I would go Mazda. The Mazda interior is so much nicer than a Toyota and much quieter. Of course you can always buy a Toyota Crown and get a better interior for a lot more money but very different from the CX50 or RAV4. That being said I will still keep my 2023 Toyota Venza over the RAV or CX50. It is the best of both worlds. 😊

Let me add that Canada Toyota dealers are still trying to add $ 5 -10k on the MSRP of RAV4 hybrid which would make the CX-50 hybrid an excellent alternative option … also, the as per “Consumer Reports” the CX-50 is truly a fun to drive

The Mazda CX-50 has a lower and flatter roof line to facilitate the loading of kayaks and other outdoor gear. It was designed to compete with the Subaru Crosstrek and Outback amongst others.

Wish the Crown Signia wasn't so much longer than the Venza or RAV4 cars, or else I might go for it. I like the current Venza too except the dash/infotainment setup.

My ex bought one ! I'd never ever buy one ! Had a computer problem! You can't take it to a normal mechanic who doesn't have the diagnosis!! Cost ?? 😂😂😂it's a Toyota personally only paying for the name !!!! Lol I drive my fathers 1997 Honda Civic EK1 anniversary sedan in immaculate condition which I run on high quality octane petrol no issues with it whatsoever ! It's priceless worth more than a Toyota As far as hybrid & electric vehicles ? Each to their own !!!!!!

Rav4 hybrid has waiting time around 8-9 months.

Granted, Toyota has greater expertise on their hybrids than Mazda but given an excellent reliability, how many times would you realistically need to leverage such expertise to fix your car? And yes, Toyota's MSRP's are cheaper but in Canada, Mazda's financing rates at smaller terms are 50% of Toyota's. So you could get Mazda's base GSL (with way more features than Toyota's base LE) at a slightly higher monthly cost of the LE (by ~$100). In other words, with a Mazda GSL, you're getting XLE features for the same price as an LE. Toyota I found is also not as open to negotiations on price because of their backlog/ demand. They are also able to charge higher interest rates because of this. A 100% made Mazda vehicle will have less resale value than a Toyota but resale value of the CX50 would be hard to determine because there is no historical data specifically on a Mazda with a Toyota engine. And a super reliable Toyota engine would make up a good chunk of the resale price I think Mazda is a winner here overall
