I think this map really highlights the overbuffing problem i think is big in Project Ember. Take the wyvern riders in vanilla FE6. In chalter 7, they're really scary. Even with your best archers with steel bows, at this point, they might do 2/3 of their health and be retailiated with a javelin. In Project Ember, they're one rounded. It turns a showcasing of the might and terror of Bern into a speed bump

Armors being too fast for their own good. It doesn't happen often, but always at the worst possible time. Good thing you gave the big boy a second chance or we would have missed something special. Am I crazy or did this map look much easier here than in vanilla? Besides that misplay with Bors, no one was in real danger which is unusual for this chapter. The playable units felt considerably stronger than the enemies this time.

Yeah you kind of assume they'll never get doubled but sometimes the game reminds you to not make any assumptions lol. As an another person pointed it out in the comments I think it has to do with the general trend in PE where your units may be a little overtuned causing this map to be a little trivialised.

Chapter 7 is probably my favorite fe6 map, or even my favorite fire emblem map all together - and I do think project ember did some cool stuff, what with the class changes, decreased volume of rng, and the new character recruit - but the one change I dislike is the choice to use fe7 music for the map. I really don't think it matches the map, or really fe6 in the slightest, and even if I were to separate the identity of fe6 from it I'd still dislike the choice.

It's a great map for real! I didn't notice the music change, but that's cause I generally never notice music that much, but I'll have to go back and listen to both versions to see exactly what you mean!

Unfortunately, I had to put the series on hiatus as the videos were taking far too long to make, and stopped me from making other content. I do plan to give it a form a finale through making some other video to close it out though, so it won't stay the way it is.

Your best bet would be to check the FEUniverse forums. Basically you have to patch over a rom of regular FE6 using NUPS, but I don't know how to do that on mobile, personally.

I do think the new Great Knight looks great compared to the original. The original i would say is okay but i think it´s quite "cluttered" in terms of it´s shape compared to this one.

Yeah, I'm very sorry, it was taking a lot of time out of my weeks at the time and I couldn't work on solo runs and such. I have been working on a way to at least make a video to close out the series for a little bit now hopefully I can offer a conclusion soon enough.
