It's so generous of you to share your life and family with us. Do you "do" Halloween there? Like handing out candy to Trick or treaters? My sister and I have started our own tradition. We don't have any youngsters in our neighborhood so we buy candy that we like, turn out all the lights, pull the curtains and watch old (black & white 1930s to 1950s)) scary movies. 😅😊

New car name - my vote would be “Doris”! I’m a little biased, though, as I actually met Doris Day when I was a teenager in Girl Scouts. We went on a tour to downtown Seattle and saw a play that she was in, and then got to go up on stage to meet /speak with her after the show. It was a real thrill for all of us! As usual I am catching up. It's the 14th in my world lol! We had our vaccinations at the weekend. My left arm is a bit achy not helped by knitters shoulder at the moment. Must remember to get up and stretch more often. What a long walk you did especially after that exercise session!

So far I've made two...one large one in rainbow colours and a wee little one to use as a swaddle wrap for my grand-daughter. Such as easy, enjoyable pattern to work. 😃

The Amanitas are a family of the most poisonous fungi in the UK- they have such delightful names as ’Death Cap’ and ‘the Destroying Angel’ strongly recommend not licking! The iconic Fly Agaric is , apocryphally, known as the toadstool vikings ate before going beserking as it is somewhat hallucinogenic. Probably why you see so many fairies sat on it. Hi Ali, I love, your vlogs, long time viewer since 2020, I'm sitting working on my sewing machine, while listening and watching, you are fantastic company and a lot of laughs always, happy vibes. I had my flu jab on Monday and I also, had an early night. The cookies that, Phoebe made looked delicious, when she broke it open. I did quite a bit of queue marshalling during the mass covid vaccination sessions, one useful tip I learned was to totally relax your arm so the muscle is very soft, this will help lesson the the chance of a post jab sore arm.

We name our cars, recently we have let the kids name them. Our truck is George, my hubby's car is Bluey, mine is Grey, and they named our travel trailer too, Bob. Some people give us weird looks when we talk about taking Bob places. 😂😂😂

Loving the vlogs, I had my flu Jag on Thursday and the sore arm got me. Felt less groggy after 2 days. The walk looks fab. I miss long walks (fellow colitis sufferer) I have to stick to routes where I know there is a loo. ❤❤

Hi Ali, so nice to see the Alteya rose water sitting there! I love it and I use it all the time. I'm really pleased that my suggestion was useful to you. Suggestion for a name for your car: I'd go for Dolly, because I like the Parton variety of that name! When as a child my mother would drive us for camping holidays in Brittany, she would get us - my sister and me - to make words or names with the letters on registration plates to keep the boredom away. I'm still doing it now! 😊

I vote for Doris Rewilding Jude is amazing. I'm loving you and memory makes vlogtober, and Jude's weekly blogs. Your arrangement with your (not) cat is exactly how i am with 2 of ours. I have an empty tissue box on my side table that props the laptop up and inline with the arm its perched on. (I also have to have mine fairly stable in its perch because there is a 3rd cat that jumps up onto it for treats that he's gotten addicted to from a very kind friend gifted the cats some treats!)
