This person was not mentally nor emotionally ready to have possession of $80K at 18 even though that is technically the "golden" age of legal maturity. It sounds like he moved in with other family members after witnessing the horrible events of the murder/suicide at 13. It makes me wonder what that situation was like, positive or negative? Did they not see he needed help? Regardless, it sounds like he was an addict by 18 and he either had no one to guide him or wouldn't listen to anyone who was trying. What a sad situation. I really do hope he gets it together and stays clean.

I didn't take this path until I realized college wasn't the way, and I wanted to work with my hands, and it was all thanks to my family giving me time to reflect. Surviving as he is doing would be extremely hard sober. Try sleeping on the street. That's how they get them, and the drugs are pushed on them and practically free, to get them started. He is up against so much. I often wonder, what comes first? The drugs, or survival mode, which you go into when you're abandoned as a child. So sometimes, it really is the answer. Count yourself blessed if you don't understand.

I can tell you from experience..Get an RV or Van. As Motels, RV parks will siphon off your limited income. Then you will never get out of it. As they cost $600.00 a month or more. That is a car payment every month. And treat everybody nice. They will help you with the small things. As it gets cold and hot...The rest is up too you.

homeless and living in car is a choice by majority of folks. if they hunker down and try to find stable work they can still afford some housing. might not be good, but its a roof. Seem this life choice is because they do not want to be stuck in the rat race we all call life. Sometime you have to be in the race whether you like it or not to survive. Also, the glamorizing of drugs and alcohol by society add to the issue. Need to go back to prosecuting criminal drugs use and find treatment for those who are stuck in the cycle for a better path out. A free society sometime require tough love.

I cant think of the words to tell them without embarrassing them, so I just leave a generous tip. Blame our educational system, schools college and universities don’t teach anything about how to live work and survive nor do they give any support for finding work. All you get is debt you can’t pay off. It was like this 3 decades ago. I finished four years of college and I never got anywhere with it despite graduating top of my class. Employers don’t want someone who can think for themselves they want the cheapest possible employees they can hire educated or not.

Mr. Big Super Living in Arizona, Hopefully, the gentleman in this video can stay sober, and find a positive job that will provide him positive income. Hopefully , he can find a place to live. There seems to be a recurring theme of drug addiction (present or recent past). Housing is expensive and so are drugs (not just in terms of money). This begs the question: is the problem homelessness or drug addiction? The answer leads to the direction of the best solution.

I’ve listened to trap music, specifically Gucci, all my life and NEVER wanted to try drugs or sell them. First step of recovery is to acknowledge your behavior and actions. He’s putting his drug usage on everyone else but himself. HE made those decisions - period.

Sounds like a nice guy, he should get that steering wheel problem fixed asap. His steering fluid may be leaking, he could start there. His car the steering components could get cracked
