My son lives over in Phoenix, has been for about 6 yrs now, I don't even know if he is homeless or living in a shelter or what. His name is Brady West, I don't think he does drugs or drinks alcohol, but I do not know and I'm scared for his welfare over there. I can't help him with anything, and u can't get in touch with him. I know he just got a pre trial interview with a lawyer supposedly, what for I do not know. He's a good worker, just can't get a job with no transportation, no diploma, no ged as of yet, I know you probably will not see him, just hoping.

Blossoms story hurt my heart bro. I was on meth for about 10 years. I overdosed. It took that for me to turn my life around and get off of the dope. I’ve been clean since 2007. Blossom, if you read this, there’s programs out here to help you. There’s others out here that will help you. The first step is the hardest one to take, but it can be done. I grew up out there...26 years in Phoenix.....got hooked on that amphetamines....got hemmed up.....did my time and got the hell outta there!! Been gone 9 years, just went back this passed weekend to visit...and I'm glad I made the very tough decision to leave there. If not, I KNOW I woulda been back in it. I know not everyone can do that or have the opportunity to, but if the chance ever arises... RUN!! RUN THEN HELL OUTTA THERE!! 🤘🏻

Its strange to hear someone saying this about Phoenix.. My family moved to Phoenix from Memphis for opportunity, to get away from the negativity there, the drugs, etc.. I was raised by a Nurse Practitioner and an Engineer, and we moved to N Central Phoenix in the 90's.. As an adult I'm realizing no matter where a person may be, their choices will dictate their lifestyle.. I'm appreciative my family felt AZ would be better for my brother and I and made the sacrifices they did to give us what they viewed as a better life.. But I guess I'm saying from my experience, the strongest influence is in the home, not surroundings.. I was surrounded by strong and ambitious individuals which lead me to that same.. And I don't think had I been raised here in Phx or Memphis that that would have made a true difference in regards to my morals and standards of living..

Especially considering the fact that I've never had a boring weekend here since moving here in the 90's.. Because for me, there has always been some sort of festival, event, concert, or place to explore in parts outside of Phoenix.. If it is best for you to be elsewhere, then it is a blessing you have been able to make your way to a better life.. Again, it's more so about people's choices here.. Phoenix is a big city, and is going to have the same issues about all other big cities do (crime, drugs, etc).. I lived in AZ back in my 20’s. My 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo was only 650 a month, plus I was the first tenant in it. Now those same condos are renting for 1200 and up. The cost of living has definitely went up.

Stay strong Blossom. Its nearly impossible to quit if everyone around you is using drugs. You may have to distance yourself from them. Check into an inpatient rehab center that way youll have shelter and food while you get clean.

I stumbled across this video and I’m glad I watched. I really hope Blossom finds some help. She says it takes 2. Yes she needs a support system but only she can make the change. I lost my 26 year old son to an overdose in Scottsdale in 2018. He was also self medicating. There’s nothing harder and I still shudder when someone knocks on my front door. Having the police show up and tell you that news is something I can’t get out of my mind. My son did not grow up with the issues that Blossom has faced. Drugs effect every walk of life. Some people just hate and judge addict not knowing they come from all walks and places from the great nice suburbs of orange county like me to the streets of skid row! I pray I get sober man it's really tough 🙏!!! I came from a great community yet a bad dad who uses to lock me in a room and make me stay till 11pm when my mom came home and couldn't say anything! Or else! All cause I joined special Edd in elementary ever since that transition he really had hate for me and me only not my other 5 sisters who he would make me watch out the window go and get food and play outside yet me I stayed locked in un till the divorce at age 11! Thank God! It was so bad I told my neighborhood friend what was going when I get home and luckily him and his mom snuck in food thru the window! Hot dogs eveeytime I remember man! I love them so much for what they did for me ! I was staving! And taking food from school home just to hide when I got home! Knowing I'll be locked in! For hours! I used to write on the wall I miss you mom love you mom!! When I had to get eye surgery later on! & it was very critical! "Months in the hospital! He came and visited me! Yet I just told my mom I only need you to sleep here with me I heard that kind of broke him! But man he broke me and caused me to have borderline personality disorder! "Fear of abandonment" cause of the situation! I have really bad relationships cause of it cause I sometimes may be too obsessed and fear they will leave me! Cost me too scare a lot of people away but my 3 friends who are girls! I told and they have worked with me the most! Even. My former teacher! I told her all about it & till this day we make sure to get lunch every 2 weeks! She said I'll do anything to help you even if I have to see you every week and text you almost every day! Ya crazy she said hahah !! Love her so much ! I still don't want nothing to do with him even if on my death bed!

I live right where you were standing by the laundry room, i JUST went over to introduce myself to her and gave her a book i received from church Hillsong -Mesa Campus at the 2018 sisterhood concert with Brooke Ligertwood (formally Fraser) It was one of many gifts given to us from Brooke and Bobby Houston. I was born and raised in AZ, there’s a lot of weirdos out here but it’s the type of place where you have to succeed to become something better. There’s a lot of women like blossom out here. Rent in AZ is hella expensive now even around metro. You have to at least make 18hr to make it. They do have low income apartments but most of the time its a year wait.

The guy she is living with might just not be one of them. I get how hard it can be when you feel addicted to a relationship as well. I’m sending a prayer for her.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking too she should not be with that guy. It's going to be hard to get her kids back when if she's living with someone that's on parole or spent that much time in prison 20 years -- he might have a manslaughter on his record. And they're going to look at anyone that's living in the home with her & her kids. I really hope she finds a support network, like an NA meeting place.
