Actually, we do have that kind of corn in the US. It's the kind which is used to make grits, and also the corn which is used to make the snack food "Corn Nuts". It is also used to make the Mexican dish called Menudo which you see in a lot of authentic Mexican restaurants. It is a super tall variety of corn which you will seen grown in Iowa, Nebraska, and the eastern parts of the Dakotas. in the corn belt, it is third only to feed corn (#1) and sweet corn. There is more of this kind of corn grown than popcorn. The United States also exports a lot of this variety of corn.

Yeah you are correct. You see it in Goya cans as well, but that type is weird looking lol. Its different from the Peruvian and Mexican versions. Btw ive tried both Pozole & Patasca (Similar soups) and the Patasca is more rich in flavor imo..

I went to Peru with friends during COVID and I wanna go back. Not only because it was so beautiful and it felt like being home in the Philippines, but also I feel like we missed out a lot of the culture within people and social interactions.

*_41 days ago, on 01 May, 2023_* , a small plane carrying a group of indigenous Colombian people - 3 adults and 4 children (siblings) - crashed in the Amazon. None of the adults survived (1 being the mother of the 4), leaving the children to fend for themselves - the youngest not yet 1, the eldest 13. *_Yesterday, 09 June 2023,_* all four children were found alive - though malnourished and insect bitten. During that unimaginable 40 days, the infant turned 1 year old. Their survival surely fell to the knowledge, intuition, resourcefulness and strength of the 13 year-old. All things that would have been encouraged and exemplified through her entire life, by those around her. Those who raised her would be so proud. I am proud of her. ~~~~ 1 ~ I appreciate how thoughtful and precise Oro is with his communications and observations. 2 ~ That little boy at 15:07....I'm not sure if he was mocking your chatter, saying "yumyumyumyumyumyum" or what, 😄. 3 ~ 24:38 was a great shot. 4 ~ And the little girl at 1:22:59, 😂. 5 ~ Mr. Manuel is very good-looking. 6 ~ I can't stop noticing Sonny's hair.
