His personal rival, Lord Apollo of Creed House had to train him to his joust and swordfight with Sir James "The Clubber" Lang, the fight was over in a no weapon fight using just their hands, something never seen before between noble houses, because that only happened between peasants in tavern fights

this actually sounds like a melody that one might actually hear something like back in those times, while it still does contain some modern music theory that you wouldnt have heard in the west back then, it does sound plausible, especially if we consider areas like west asia and anywhere that the west and east met continually.

The instrumentation fits both with Chinese and English styles, because the amount of instruments was very limited back then. The style of the song itself lends itself closer to the Chinese style, so it ends up sounding that way.

Bardcore not hardcore and Mostly it's castle speech/ “ye olde English” as opposed to actual old English (which looks whole lot more like German than English) . The better ones can get Middle English (think Chaucer) and some do Early Mid-Modern English (think Shakespeare).

(Chorus) It's the eye of the dragon, it's the thrill of the fight, Rising up to the challenge of our rivals. And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night, And they're watching us all with the eye of the dragon. (Verse 2) Face to face, out in the heat, Hangin' tough, stayin' hungry. They stack the odds 'til we take to the street, For we kill with the skill to survive. (Chorus) It's the eye of the dragon, it's the thrill of the fight, Rising up to the challenge of our rivals. And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night, And they're watching us all with the eye of the dragon. (Bridge) Rising up, straight to the top, Had the guts, got the glory. Went the distance, now I'm not gonna stop, Just a man and his will to survive. (Chorus) It's the eye of the dragon, it's the thrill of the fight, Rising up to the challenge of our rivals. And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night, And they're watching us all with the eye of the dragon. (Outro) The eye of the dragon!
