This is my comfort show. Ironically Les was probably miserable during a lot of the filming but I learned so much. I doubt I could ever do as well as he does, but if it came to it, I have ideas on priorities to survive.

this is the same for me. He's a great narrorator and host, and I would at least know some priorities to focus on if I found myself in some deep s***

It remains one of the most impressive shows while being filmed and created from a beautifully humble perspective. He’s the most bad ass human and yet I’d say most of us would love to have a drink with him.
@Sundog08116 ай бұрын
No. If you watch the directors commentary, he explains that he never spent a night out there. They can even use camera tricks to make it look dark in broad daylight. Hes explained how he always gies to hotel at the end of the day. And 90% of the shots are of a stuntman and the other 10% is cgi. Les has never left his living room in canada. Pretty amazing feat, i have to say.

@@Sundog0811 You state he "goes to a hotel at the end of the day" and also state "he has never left his living room". These are contradictory statements; clearly one of these statements is a lie.

Not to be a mega bummer, Les, but my father has lewy body dementia and watching your channel has been an invaluable trip down memory lane. You’ve always reminded me of my dad in certain ways, and we shared a love of your shows. Your channel and commentaries have helped me feel reconnected with a piece of him I can’t get back. So thank you ❤ much love to you and yours

Les is good, but today, I had to hunt the elusive Pizza animal. You can't imagine the lengths I have to go to. Those things grow incredibly fast and are only edible for about one or two days. You need to bait them with specialized bait called "money" and when they come, you need to be quick. Open the door like a trapdoor spider and grab them quickly. I suggest eating them immediately after catching them. But yeah, a lot bigger hustle than to simply pluck and open a coconut. Urban survival is the hardest for sure. [yes, this was sarcasm for all those who don't realize it]
