I like Rinnosuke because he's funny. The man is a big nerd who's just kinda there, suffering while shenanigans happen around him but he's still just constantly on the loot grindset. Plus he's kinda hot, ngl, especially for a silly nerd. I mean, I like Youmu and Aya more because they're also funny. Although Akyuu, on the other hand... well while I can say it's because her lore, I think me liking both her and Rinnosuke just says I'm a nerd. But then again, I'm literally a fan of a Japanese bullet hell game franchise with roots in mythology+religion and a bunch of supplementary reading material. I'm pretty sure liking Touhou automatically makes you a nerd; like I'm a bigger nerd that some of y'all but you literally can't deny that you're not nerdy if you are a fan of Touhou... or you could just be a weeb, which isn't any better either. All in all, loved the video series. Sometimes I get called out hard with 100% accuracy while sometimes I'm not deep enough in the [character] rabbit hole to even be a sliver close to supposed stereotypes.

Since some of these were missed and grouped by the "no one cares about" allignment, here are some of my proposals: -Konngara: You may have also played HRtP as religiously as Sariel fans, but you don't like the angel trope and instead you're in love with the samurai trope. -Rika: Unlike any of the other "no one cares about" characters like Sara, Kikuri or Louize, Rika fans are special. They have a slight tendency of knowing about warfare tropes, Kirby lore, and any other possible mean to watch the world burn, but ultimately gets drove mad by calculus to actually be an internet menace by yourself. Everyone else must be careful; Rika fans who beated her legitimately are the craziest ones. -Ibaraki-douji: You like Kasen's lore, you like Yuugi's physics, and you're nerd enough or Lost Word fan enough to find out your favorite character is literally a hand. Not judging tho; she's still a waifu.

Let's get this over and done with... YuugenMagan - A shame she's lumped in with characters people don't care about, but what really is there for the first game's bosses? People have to humanise it's electric figure in order to even draw her most of the time. Yumemi - I used to like chemistry, but mostly I like the color red. PC-98 Yuuka - No, not really. I just like long hair Yuuka. Mugetsu - Who's Nocti? And while I do like SMT, I mostly interact with Persona. Yumeko - Uh... yes! Though she may not get her time in the spotlight due to Sakuya, unfortunately (I'm surprised you never mentioned her, usually Yumeko fans get called Sakuya fans who want to be different). Rei'sen - Not related to her, but Seiran is definetely best lunar rabbit. I don't dislike either Reisen, though. Yorihime - I did try Lost Word, but I don't think I ever got her. I'm mainly into her because I like the idea of a buffed up Reimu. I do know a bit of her lore, but I've never read the manga so it's a bit limited.

Rinnosuke is a funny character...oh sorry, i'm a fucking nerd who actually read curiosities of lotus asia, he is one of my favorites, i like the silly characters like aya, mamizou, clownpiece, suika, yukari and rinnosuke (aya and mamizou being my two favorite touhous) A dude who is a shut-in and isn't there for the money...because reimu and marisa never buy anything and assume that he can't give anything away (not that they are wrong) and reimu (against popular belief) doesn't understand the worth of money at all, because she's so disconnected from everything Poor guy needs to survive the everyday life of gensokyo without actually having a useful power (he knows what an object, he has never seen, does, but not really (try to explain a tv to a midieval person), the results are often quite funny) and just being a half-youkai Poor guy fearing yukari with his dear life and he has the anime glasses pose in the manga, he isn't only the self-insert you use for your next hentai, because you need a male character...why did i write so much under a joke video?

Aocf just isn’t as good as Soku. Aocf has 1 urban legend attack per character Soku has 3-5 skill attacks per character with 2 alternate versions each. Aocf has jumping down Soku has crouch attacks. Aocf has the perfect possession mechanic Soku has weather mechanics (some people don’t like the weather but you can influence it to get the weather you want). Aocf has 19 characters Soku has 20. Aocf has 3 spell cards and 1 last word per character Soku has 5-10 spell cards per character. The list goes on but by almost every metric Soku has Aocf beat. The only thing that could have made Aocf awesome was if they got the perfect possession mechanic right but they didn’t. They played it safe and made it too weak to be useful in a fight and is just alternating between 2 characters rather than combining them together like it should have been.
