Nice, easy to follow video, thanks! A question for the end of the video: was it brake fluid dripping under the bike?

Just a quick q as I've not done much motorbike maintenance myself - is it not advisable to de-gas the fluid before bleeding it through by applying a vacuum to get bubbles out? I have to do this when bleeding the Avid Elixir brakes on my mountainbike is all.

What size of tubing did you use? 1/4 or 5/8 inches? Smaller?

I believe 3/16" inner diameter and 1/4" outer diameter is the correct size

I stupidly pressed my brake pedal when changing the rear pads and now the pistons are stuck out. Any suggestions on how to get them back in? Thanks

Nice attempt. But... first: clean the bike carefully and dry it. Or at the very least the brake fluid tank. Second, protect the surrounding area from any fluid drops. Then and only then carefully remove the tank cover.... A warning for the screwdriver and the risk of damaging the screws would be welcome. As for the rest of the operation the front brake can be completely drained and the upper part of the circuit purge itself in a few hours rest...though you can speed it up by pumping the lever every few minutes...and you will have to purge the caliper anyway. Last, consider using some more light and clear colors environment to allow the video to show what you are doing. Some sequences look like horror movies ...
