Sometimes I think it’s more fun coming up with the jigs and little tools than it is loading. Constantly upgrading and changing stuff to make it work better 👍🏻

It definitely can be. I sure helps keep the brain active since it's not something becomes routine.

These look awesome.

Once you get going on those you have a whole pile of them done. super easy.

You're absolutely right. I like to get a batch of wads drilled and then go crazy assembling them. Drilling these is really fast using the injection point as a drill guide. Thanks for the jig idea.

The weight of the zveroboy slug used in this video weigh 544 grains give or take what lead used and with vectan a1 27 grains is a good start.

Easy 2 and half inch group at 50 yards I get better but once you play about around there so will you brother just look out for high pressure signs in your gun work up steady they are good same as 830 gr paradox they hit very hard very fast u will smile

put a 20 gauge overshot card between the slug and the brush wad and your done !

Thanks, not sure why that never occurred to me. I found that BPI now carries the green wads as "BRP-12" that fit, but stock is spotty, and I had to buy 5K. They look similar, but aren't the same; the BRP-12 is beefier than the OBW, but has a shorter skirt.

Did you try using the FS 12 wad?
@psykoklown8743 жыл бұрын
I attached one, but the screw touches the top of the gas seal. I'll probably try it at some point just to see if they work. With the green BRP-12 (the proper wad) they fit in a roll crimped 2-1/4" roll crimped hull.

Thanks. I have that, but wasn't sure what payload weight to use to base my starting loads off of.

What powder do you want to use as I have 3 loads worked up if it helps blue dot. Long shot. Vectan A1.
@psykoklown8745 жыл бұрын
@@mikebagnallshooting9818 I have Vectan A1 & A0 (I don't think AS, A24, or 206V are good for this purpose). Longshot, 700X, 800X, HS-6. I think that's all, but I'm not positive. I'm visiting family, so I'll have to edit in any others tomorrow.

@@mikebagnallshooting9818 Thanks. I tried A0, and it shows promise. I only had a bead sight though, and need to get my new red dot set up to see how well it can do.

how's the accuracy on those screwed on wads?
@psykoklown8743 жыл бұрын
Not bad. I recently got the BPI BRP-12 (Gualandi BRP 20) wad. It's the green wad shown on the mold manufacturer's sites with this type of slug. They look a lot like the BPI OBW (Gualandi BRP 18). The slugs are designed to fit these wads. I'm getting one hole groups at 25 yards with AS Molds Shot-mini, and 3 petal Twister slugs. Both have screw attached wads so far. Eventually I'll try at 50 yards. Around 34 gn of Longshot seems to be a good place to start for these heavier slugs.
