Great video series. It's so hot and humid in Florida that it makes survival rough but that just makes you tougher.

I just moved to Florida. I figured I’d never survive in the swamps, I’m used to heavy forest.. you’ve given hope that I could make it if I ever had too! Great video, very informative!!

Watched two of your videos so far. I will.be binge watching your videos for days to come. Such valuable information and techniques. I found your first video that I’ve seen from you by putting “Florida Survival” on the KZbin search. Your “Living off the land solo in the Florida wilderness” was the first video to pop up and was a great first impression. I’m glad to see after 3 years of that video, you’re still uploading videos to this day. Thank you for the videos, for they are so helpful.

I was looking for a wild edibles video in Florida. I came across your Swamp Bushcraft, glad I did. Great informative video! Good to see someone survive and thrive here. I have to ask...... in that swamp what about the mosquitoes?
@joelvbushcraft4 жыл бұрын
Thank you sir, mosquitoes are always a headache. Yes they were bad at night. FYI if you are looking for great wild food info for FL check out eat the weeds website. Sign up for the newsletter that Greene Deane sends out. Enjoy!

Just wonder when you come out this way would you consider taking along a newbie to learn first hand with you if yes I'd be interested thanks in advance and if not I understand that as well.

Interesting video, are snakes not a problem in such a wet environment?
@joelvbushcraft4 жыл бұрын
Steven Keery yes snakes are around but most of the time they keep their distance. There are copperheads and cottonmouths in that area.

Great to see you in my neck of the woods/Florida ! Just a suggestion here.....you don`t need that "much" fatwood " per fire. You have enough there to make several new fires. Thumbs up !
@joelvbushcraft4 жыл бұрын
The Simple Life haha yep you are certainly right about the fatwood. just had so much available that I used a lot, usually I only need a very small amount. Thanks for watching

He's in north Florida during what seems to be the cold weather months. No mosquitoes in North Florida during cold weather. I know it's cold because you can see his breath multiple times during the video. Has to be northish Florida cause South Florida almost never gets that cold lol
