Crack the bleed on calliper, with pressure on brake and pump a little out, put a piece of tube on the bleeder down into a bottle to stop the mess.

I actually did that when bleeding the front. I didn't have the right size hose though so it didn't work very well haha.

I can tell that recovering from your broken hoof and having a brandy new scooter waiting to go is really starting to wear on you. I can only imagine. To help make your first ride on the T7 all that it should be, I'm offering to help you out. Instead of dealing with the tedium of break in, send it to me and I'll put the first thousand miles on it so that when you get the green light to ride, you can get the full experience without the monotony of always keeping an eye on the tach and worrying about constant chain and cable adjustments. You don't have to thank me.... It's just the kind of guy I am.

That's a very generous offer! But I couldn't ask you to do that. It's something I'll have to do on my own haha.

I'd just have bleed the brake like I normally do. Everyone has a plastic hose from the hardware store that perfectly fits on the bleeder valve screw head. And a jar of old brake fluid you keep around to strip paint.

That’s not what happens at all what happens is you end up resting your foot on the brake pedal and then it gets so hot it locks up I did it to mine and I’ve seen two other people do it. Sometimes you can smell your break when you stop.

@SwankyCatProductions4 жыл бұрын
I actually really like the trails around in Marathon county. The countries to the north are good too though. There are trails in Lincoln county that run through the Harrison Hills ATV trails which have a few jumps and some really neat scenery.

SWANKY CAT That area is a lot closer then the 6 hours I was going to travel for the UP so I will definitely have to check it out. You ever use vvmapping out there? I won’t have my buddies riding with me anymore, just my wife so I don’t want to get us lost 😅 Just watched a video where you mentioned it so forget that question

I love my vv maps!!! Here's a trip to Harrison Hills last year, awesome place to ride and honestly better trails then some of the sections in the UP. It's really cool up there but most of its pretty straight and wide open. I like the tight twisty trails like this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b5ykdJdsop2Aeq8
@IxAlwaysxWin4 жыл бұрын
@@SwankyCatProductions I ended up purchasing the vvmaps and got the card in the mail a few days ago. Also got the ram mount for the gps so I’m ready! Where is Harrison Hills at? Like a city point I could gps too with hotels? I thought being in Michigan we had a lot of trails but Wisconsin is just covered in trails according to these maps.

@@SwankyCatProductions I thought my brand new Klein tools t bar allen wrench was going to snap trying to get a couple of those bolts out . That was my first technical interaction with the Outback Motortek crash bars last month . I couldn't wait any longer for Altrider so I paid a few bucks more for TourTech upper and lower crash bars . The guys was super cool and the next day the box was in my garage . Washington to Northern California in one day ,nice . He's the suspension guy for them and I think I might take a ride up there and have them fix up the Tenere unless the place I bought the bike from has a decent suspension guy . At least I have both my trucks readyish for taking the bike in for some warranty work , dang engine light is on and the oil is fine ? If it doesn't fit on my lift gate then up the ramp and in the Dodge it goes . You should be up and riding in a couple weeks you think ? @SwankyCatProductions Жыл бұрын
I can't confirm the wheel lock up, but I've seen a large number of people talking about their rear brakes getting hot because of this. As a matter of fact, just the other day (keep in mind this video is a few years old) I saw someone asking about their rear rotor being all blue and discolored from over heating. I've also personally seen a brake lock up due to over filling, it was on a snowmobile but it's still a very similar set up. Master cylinder, fluid container, rotor, caliper, ect.
