But its also the fact im very aware its a story, and in order for it to go forward, Joe needs to survive. Lol with all that being said I've only seen the first season. Near the end his character unfolding a whole fuckin lot and its like wow, i guess he is a serial killer. Not a one time deal haha.

In life, obviously these things are horrifying but this is ficrion lol It also just depends, in some movies the bad guy is the main character and you're so entertained by his/her "crazyness" but you're still thinkin "Somebody needs to take this guy out" lol But with Joe, in particular i was definitely rooting for him. Especially Benji being the definition of a douche lol and Joes girlfriends best friend being such a bitch(i forget the two girls names, sorry) haha but again, only seen the first season. The truth is if his character in YOU looked like Usher or Trey Songz then the audience would be fangirling over him in exactly the same way. It's based on what people perceive to be ATTRACTIVE and not race in my opinion. At the end of the day it's a TV show and handsome villains have always been the focus of teenage crushes as well as admiration and that's because we're all well aware that he's a FICTIONAL character. These shows are a huge part of our escapism so I wish Penn would give the audience some credit. It's not like they're adoring an actual serial killer. Joe is a TV character for goodness sake.
