Those two guys at the beginning weren't Imperials. They were part of the local corporate security force. Very similar to how the Romans allowed many of their territories to police themselves, but ultimately answered to the empire. I also LOVE that reference to the sort of jaded corporate mentality--"We're not going to do what's right. We're going to do whatever keeps us off the corporate radar." It rings so true.

"Finally SW made with competent writing" would be more accurate but i get ya g. I wouldnt even call the OT SW "made for adult audience" but that wasn't a problem.
