SWFL Eagles- M15 Catches A Poor Man's Tarpon & A Pan Fish. Two Deliveries By Daddy Dash

In this video, M15 deliveries a whopping lady fish AKA "Poor Man's Tarpon" and a half eaten pan fish. As Dad drops the first meal (lady fish), E22 claims the prize , E21 then flies into the nest and climbs on E22's back to steal the prize. E22 fiercely mantled and protected his claim, denying E21 the prize. E21 changes his strategy and when E22 was distracted and comfortably munching away; the older offspring sneaks in and takes the fish right from under him/her. E21 flew with it to the bachelor pad (office oak tree) and ate it. E22 had a few bites of the lady fish. But no worries! Soon after M15 delivered a pan fish. The head of the fish was missing, but most of the body was intact. E22 claimed the prize and ate the entire fish. What an awesome morning! Both juveniles ate well, crops were full by 11: 00 A.M. The findings in this video are my personal opinions based on my observations. Please take my findings with a grain of salt! This video was recorded on Saturday, April 15 of 2023. At the time this footage was recorded, E21 was 101 days old and E22 was 98 days old. This is a public video. You may share it at your discretion. @@ChristinaBijon Neither eaglet is starving, for goodness sakes!😂 They are busy exploring the area and M15 brings them food deliveries off the nest as well as at the nest. They may also be finding food on their own when they are doing eagle things out of cam range.
