I suppose this movie could have been more efficient if the characters, especially the leads, were played by German actors (if they can speak English) instead of American and British ones. I am well aware that there is a German dub I believe in Dailymotion but it doesn't feel like much help to me. I mean just because the Swing Kids were influenced by American and British culture doesn't mean they should be played by American and British actors, to me it desecrates the view of seeing a genuine German trying to imitate someone other than their own country instead of the vice versa that you see here.

My uncle told me a story of how his unit had just come into a small town and many of the people were so relived the war was over for them, and the Americans had food for them. Suddenly two kids, younger than 13 came running to them with their arms open. Suddenly the girl was shot from a trooper on his right,. As he turned to look there was an explosion. The other soldier had seen a man give her a grenade and she hid it in her coat and went running to them. Two pre-teens on a sent on a suicide mission. A few minutes later a woman grabbed his arm and pointed to the man who had given her the grenade. My uncle grabbed him and he had an SS tattoo. He handed him over to a Sgt and siaid, "See that he gets where he needs to be." The guy must have thought they were going to take him prisoner, but they stood him against a tree and shot hm. The next day he ran into the woman again, in the food line and she thanked him for killing that murderer, and gave him a list of names.

Christina Finley well the at least one of us have a way with words. comparing some random cuntrag on youtube to political mastermind puppets like adolf hitler should probably be considered a compliment, but as I'm not affiliated with what you think of as a "nazi", I just disregard it as your "technique" of arguing (we all know what it's called). either that, or you're just terrible at analyzing people. my picture is me yes, but it's getting old now (2010) and it's taken about a year after I got out of cancer treatment and was heading into private security. and let me tell you, I was fucking terrified of chemo treatment but I managed anyway and it was an experience. you know what they say about experiences, what doesn't kill you etc is supposed to make you stronger or smarter or whatever. that's exactly the case regarding swing kids as well, as it was my absolute favourite movie when I was around 10-12 years old, and I used to shout swing heil in the school corridors and other such nonsense, thinking I was "anti-racist". however, experience has changed me as I got out of school, and I don't think that experience made me any dumber, and I don't view things in that simpleton kind of way anymore. school is made to make people function in society, not to make people into critical thinkers, and I experienced exactly the same thing when I was studying political science at university; unproven bullshit is regarded as fact, and then you salvage what you can from there, thinking it's "science". people like you should simply pipe down just a bit, because you have no perception whatsoever of where this fucking divide and conquer is taking us. globalism is not positive, not for me, not for you, and like it or not - that we have in common.
