I've said this a million times and have had 2 million Apple people argue with me about it. The multitasking is a 110% deal breaker for me when it comes to iPhone. Them people say they have it but they just don't understand until they use "proper" multitasking. I use it literally every single day, sometimes triple screen multitasking and it makes my life a zillion times easier. Plus the customization is huge for me. I change my wallpaper, icons, color pallet, folder layout, etc...etc every day and love that I can.

I switch back and forth between iphone and galaxys when I upgrade. Anybody who owns an iPhone knows the pain of having to use spotlight search just to find an app you need to use. Question.. did you change the screen resolution at all? I didn't realize I had mine at FHD+ for like a day or so then I switch to the full WQHD+ option but I'm worried that I may have messed up the battery optimization.. if so do I need to do a factory reset? Or just clear the cache partition if you know of. You make some of my favorite videos on KZbin. I'm loving the s23 ultra so far. I have very high hopes for the z fold 5 when it comes out but it will be hard to pull away from a phone like this that basically nails everything perfectly. Samsung is getting better and better. It was also a safe bet to go Qualcomm in every device for every country. Once Samsung breaks the barrier with it's tizen software to compete with apples iOS, seriously game over. I am still waiting to see that day and I think it's coming. As much as I like Google and Samsung working together, Samsung's I believe is being held back by not being able to produce their true potential in that space. Nonetheless I did have an iphone 14 pro max for 3 and a half weeks and iOS 16 was so buggy I actually switched back to my s22 ultra and then waited to buy the s23 ultra. I'm sure glad I did. Another weird thing I noticed.. iphone screens I feel are not as sensitive as Samsung device screens which is weird because Samsung also makes their screens but with iphone I feel like I need to tap harder just for certain buttons to register. Sorry for the long response but all in all the s23 ultra is going to be the phone to beat. I'm loving it so far. Finally a smartphone that is essentially perfect.

I'm trialing an iphone 14 pro from an S20 Note Ultra now for about 3 weeks and I do miss some of the features you mentioned in your video. Multi-tasking is a big one. The S-Pen is another. Battery life is ok at this stage. The customisation with iphone is not on par with android (sorry apple users). I definitely think the apple phone is very usable for a day to day phone that just works out of the box but doing any type of functional business/day to day work seems a bit more complexed on the iphone. I will most likely trial the S23 Ultra & Apple 14 Pro Max. Great video and keep up the good un-biased reviews. Its hard to get genuine reviews these days from you tube.

I unfortunately have iPhone 13 Pro. I switched to it from Note 9 due to some security concerns. I miss so many features on that old phone. It's all little things but when they combine, iOS feels really restrictive. The tiny detail I love in Samsung phones is that when you start to use the phone vertically there is a small icon at the right bottom corner appears, asking you if you want to use the phone in landscape mode.

have a s22 ultra. I work in manufacturing and they allow us to listen to music but don't like us constantly pulling out our phone. A lot of times, I want to change a song and because I'm using air pods pro 2 and it doesn't allow tap functionality on android, I was stuck for a while with no control of my music without having to pull out my phone. then, one day, I realize I could just take my s-pen out of the slot and put it on my work desk. Since then, I've been able to skip songs, replay songs, play, pause, by using the s-pen as a remote. I even use it with my lectures on Udemy and KZbin pro. It's such an awesome feature. These little things will make you realize how much you're giving up to join iphone platforms.

Hi ! Special thanks for your job and your story telling. i use both Samsung and iPhone on my daily basis for work and personal things. the thing i regret on Samsung it’s Samsung Pay and the lack of Face id on the Samsung. i live in France and since the S23 ultra with Snapdragon Soc we use to have the Exynos chip wich is a really bad customer experience for lags / heat and no batterylife. i hope the S23 ultra will be my iPhone killer. 🎉

I'm absolutely with you on this. Love my ultra 23. Using a spigen case with it and it was affordable and doing the job needed. Ordered the Samsung Galaxy watch 5 and sold my old iphone so I don't have one to go back to now! Now that you are not going back to apple, are you going to get a Samsung watch to go with your phone? Which one will you go with!? I think it would be so cool to see you do a comparison between the samsung galaxy watch and an apple watch! My only gripe with the Galaxy watch is I can't seem to get my visa debit card linked to the samsung pay for the watch. It will only do actual credit cards not visa debits which is annoying as I mainly use my chequing account. The on credit card I do have (Capital One) is also unsupported on both apple and samsung, lol.

I had the same problem linking my debit card to Samsung pay. After fiddling with the app it eventually prompted me to call my bank (from Samsung wallet.) Honestly man I got an Apple Watch like 3 days ago and I've been thinking of returning it. It's really cool but I just haven't really seen a use. My experience with Samsung phones (last one being the s7 edge) has always been "good for a month then complete trash." Now that you've had it for about a month or so, how is the battery? Still amazing? Because if it hasn't significantly slowed down I might decide to give this thing a go after I return the watch.

I'm thinking about doing the same thing, ValisMind. I have the iPhone 14 Pro Max and between the Apple Tax for new Apple Watch Ultra bands ($99 Apple? Get serious) to incremental hardware upgrades year-over-year, I think it's time to move on. Plus, I had to pay $800 to get an Apple Watch with decent battery life. A great review. I agree with your decision why you switched to s23U. Samsung has come so far. As an iPhone user now who is contemplating the move to S23U, it’s tempting for sure. On balance though, it does come across as though you were finding any reason to slag off the iPhone. I’m not defending Apple or Samsung in any way btw. It’s like I’ve been driving a BMW for so long and enjoyed the drive and all it’s features for years, then one day I switch to Mercedes and decide to tell everyone why BMW now sucks. I get it. iPhone, well, I guess you could say it’s simplicity is it’s strength as well as its downfall, esp in comparison to many competitors today. Apple does need to make changes because all the rest are advancing in leaps and bounds! I’ve subscribed btw! 😉

I switched from iPhone X after being a lifelong iPhone user to Android and have not regretted it once. My only regret is not doing it sooner. For me, it was the buttons going away that was the final nail in the coffin. I can't do the gestures with my fat sausage fingers, I need the home screen buttons. One handed mode sucks on Apple as well. It just crops the bottom out so you lose that part of the screen and you still have to reach to the other side instead of dilating the whole thing into a smaller size that you can drag around and drag the corners to make it the perfect size for your thumb to reach the whole thing, then tap outside of it when done instead of Apple forcing you to constantly re-engage every time you tap on something.

I´ve been an android user since the Note 2, Nexus 4, Note 3, S8, etc...had a bad experience with the S20 Ultra, screen broke, bought an S20 Plus, screen broke the same way even with a case on it and both cameras over heated after several minutes. So i bought a used iPhone 8 Plus after loosing money on those two, sold it for the same price i bought it, then i bought a iPhone11, its not even a Max, but it just works great every day! So i bought a 14 Pro Max. Main reasons: resell value is crazy in my country, and i think its fair to say the iPhone has finally caught up with Android phones, it does 90% of what Android phones used to have as advantages before (superb batt, 120hz display, great cameras, iOS is way better than before, wireless charging, etc...and last, i have a Macbook M1 which has been my best laptop purchase as well and they work well together. Been on Samsung flagships since the S8+ and got every ultra phone And this is the first time ever that I actually feel like a Samsung Galaxy phone actually deserves and earned the ultra monicker, this phone has literally no downsides for me, at all the chip doesn't heat up to a concerning degree after playing apex legends mobile or CODM for more than 5 hours straight (yes I know what grass feels like leave me alone) on maximum graphics with no noticable throttling of any kind and I get left with 30% battery after all that crap This is genuinely the ultimate flagship and I believe it'll stay relevant even 4 years later.

Ngl as a diehard Android nerd for the past 11 years, I switched to iPhone 14 Max and love it. I literally never used multitasking or s pen. Most of the features on android I never used. And iPhone just feels so much more premium and smooth. Apps feel better and the haptics feel better too. I always had the top 1-2 flagship Android, but even the nicest ones (HTC) didn't feel near as premium as the iPhone. The apple watch feels so much better than the galaxy watches too. I couldn't stand android watches. The ecosystem on iphone is incredible as well. Being able to send full quality video/live pictures instantly over wifi or airdropping anything instantly feels better than any file transferring I've used on android. Just saying if you're an Android stan like I was for a long time, give iPhone a try. The OS feels so nice and fresh when you're used to android.

I tried the all Apple experiment. I'll keep my MacBook. It's absolutely best in class, especially with the M1 & M2 chips. iPhone 14 Pro Max is honestly not even as good as my old S21 (regular, not even Plus or Ultra). A lot of it has to do with how good the file system is on Samsung phones. As for messaging, all the people that I commonly message use Signal because they're smart. To me the best combo is an S Ultra phone, a MacBook that meets your needs, an iPad mini if you want a tablet, and a Garmin watch if you want a smart watch. Just an opinion, but especially because I host my own cloud on my home server, I don't need iCloud or G-Drive to hold my files together which is nice.
