Hi dears❤...i successfully delivered my baby boy on feb 21st. That was normal delivery without epidural. It was an 8 hour journey. Baby at the time of birth 3800g and he stucked for some seconds. Thankfully, he is doing well. I am experiencing potspartum swelling in my leg s and feet, looking at that us scary for me. I have stiches in my vagina too.. Do you have any remedies to reduce this potspartum edema??i didn't have any other symptoms. Dr told me i was in iv for 2 days, and that made me this edema. It will go its own

Hi there 😊, that is wonderful news!! CONGRATULATIONS on your newborn!! 🥳 It is great to hear that your little one is doing well!! Regarding your question: Unfortunately, such postpartum swelling in the legs CAN happen after a delivery because the body basically has to deal with all the fluids that accumulated during your pregnancy. This should NORMALLY go away within 1-2 weeks. However, there is one warning sign: if one of your legs appears to be more swollen than the other, then please do not hesitate to call a doctor!! The other thing is: please also watch out for pain in the chest, shortness of breath or trouble breathing! In those cases, please also call a doctor! As for the treatment: Keep moving, drink lots of water and try compression stockings! And should it get worse, please also call your doctor! Thank you! What if I'm getting swollen just above my ankles. Not my feet. Is it of any concern in such case?
