Revisiting this in December 2023 because I really love and miss these longer workouts. This was probably my favorite leg workout in a very long time. Absolutely loved the format!

Let's crush the following lower body exercises today 🍑: 2 rounds of 40 seconds, 1 round of 30 sec 1. Goblet squat 2. Forward lunges 3. Romanian deadlift step out 4. Good mornings 5. Reverse lunges 6. Lateral lunges (2x to right, 2x left, 2x alternate) 7. Hip thrust / glute bridge 8. Glute bridge with abduction 9. Bulgarian split squats ( 2 x 40 seconds on L, 2x 40 seconds on R, 1x 30 seconds on L and R) 10. Step ups with reverse lunge 11. Banded Hip abduction I love this workout! All the fundamental lower body exercises in all movement patterns (squat, hinge, bridge, abduction) are in here ❤

@@casie5901 Hi! Sorry if it came across to you that way. That was not my intention. I see people writing down in the comments section of other fitness trainer's videos the list of exercises, and lots of people appreciate it. I believe a lot of her viewers would like to have a glimpse of what's coming for them in a particular workout. By knowing what exercises are included in the particular workout video, more people can actually get enticed to do it, especially if they see that the exercises included are really good. I think many people would still look foreward to streaming her video, regardless if the exercises are listed down or not, because they love Sydney's coaching and pep talk :)

Certainly not for me anyway......I like to see a list of the exercises, it doesn’t mean I’m not going to watch and/ or do the workout, it just means I know what to expect. If I just wanted a list of exercises to do by myself I could just google it - there’s thousands of written routines available.....

Not true for me either! I like to see the list so I can prepare for what is coming and see the movements done. I watch the whole video and do the workouts with her, but it helps me to have the list as I mute the video to play my music. Thanks for listing out the workouts!

To be honest Sydney, I've been working out with you for 1 year and 7 months now but I still dread leg days. I always have to push myself hard to even start the workout I'm that "just show up" person when it's leg day but when I start the leg workout, I feel like a beast wanting to challenge more and more! 😂 I can't believe how my legs are getting stronger everytime I put it to challenge. That's how we fight challenges in life indeed. ❤

Thank you for today’s workout. I always make sure to wait 30 minutes after I eat before I do your workout whether it’s in the morning or afternoon. In terms of full disclosure, I came into today’s workout dealing with disappointment because I failed my Senior Tax Specialtist Exam. However, I channeled all the negativity into the workout and I’m feeling stronger. I can still accomplish my goal of being a Senior Tax Specialtist but I’ll have to wait a little while to do it. I hope everyone has a good day and I’ll see you tomorrow.

Sydney uploads a new workout everyday at 5 a.m. I do that but you do have the option of doing another day or time.

She is currently doing a fit and strong program this month which focuses on strength training and progressive overload. Every tues and thurs this month, she uploads a lower body workout. Mondays are for full body, wednesdays and fridays are for upper body. You can choose to start the program from day 1 to really make sure you hit all muscle groups. Or you can just click play for the workout of the day! :)

I remember first leg day workout for this month was just not feeling right. I ended it with a cry because I could not feely any burn so I thought I was doing something wrong but I did not STOP. I listened to my body, lowered the weights and focused more on my techniques and here I am again much happier, stronger and I am back to feel the burn :D Thank you so much Sydney

I definitely needed that pep talk with about 15 min left, when Sydney commented on how if you are exhausted, sweaty, etc., that just means you are doing what you should pushing yourself, you are getting stronger. Crushed it! I still have problems since knee surgery with the lunges when my right leg has to go to the back. But I feel soms progression and that gives me hope that it will come back. I know I have to be patiënt, it's only 4 months now....but that's the difficult part for me 🙈 because I love to move and do everything 100% wright.

Awesome that you are doing so well. Lunges are always hard and so until you feel totally comfortable after your knee surgery, as Sydney says...do not go down fully. Slight bend will do the job. So start with that. Good luck!!!
