The fembots are at it again! Fun fact: I used to be a woman who had beef with men opening doors for me. I'd argue that they should open the door because I'm a human, not because I'm a woman. But, I've come to understand that there is a balance between being a StRoNg InDepEnDeNt WayMeN and accepting assistance and kindness without turning it into something ugly. Life's too short to be upset by people trying to do the right thing by you. :D

Coming home from London one weekend I offered a lady with 2 huge cases a hand onto the train. "Hiya do you need a hand with those?" "Nope I don't need a man for anything" "OK no problem" Got to Glasgow the same woman's wheel collapsed on her biggest case and she actually had the nerve to berate guys walking past her, one guy even said and I quote, "sure I heard you telling that bald guy you don't need a man for anything " he proceeded to receive a load of abuse. It's exactly like that! I went on a business trip with a female colleague. When walking up some stairs I asked her if she needed help with her luggage, and she looked at me as if she was going to kill me for offering to help her. Yet 2 hours later she asked to borrow my phone charger as she forgot hers. She didn't make any attempts to return the charger that evening, so I texted her that I needed it back to charge my phone overnight. She seemed quite baffled that I had the guts to ask her to return the charger, and returned it reluctantly. This modern day feminism is just female entitlement, nothing else.

Unless the guy is a doorman, he is NOT opening the door for a woman. He was planning on going through the door he just opened. All he did was allow the woman to go first. How do you know he's not gay? Would he still be sexist. I was riding a bus and a pregnant woman got on. I was going to give her my seat, but a few thoughts ran through my mind. 1) Maybe she's just fat, not pregnant. 2) I didn't make her pregnant, so why is it my problem? 3) What if it's just her coat stuffed under her shirt? Then we got to my stop and it didn't matter. Welcome to MS (malicious sexism) lady.

Could you imagine if it had and one of the boys hit her in self-defense in front of some Pro-Trump signs? Oh, what a field day the media would have had if they got wind of it! However, if she had hit me it, we would have just been called racist instead of racist AND sexist. Thankfully, it didn't come to anything physical, besides her tearing up one of our signs, but I was scared! Yeah most women I know love it when I push a car for them, or carry three sixpacks of 2L water a bottle up the stairs for them simultaneously to help out with grocery shopping or such. It's just the feminists that seem to think that kind of instinctual helpful behaviour is toxic. Just more gender bashing to divide the sexes and keep them from making babies really. We can thank the Jews for that.

Instead I'll just leave this here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noel_Ignatiev Keep in mind that this is Rotschild owned Wikipedia, which also states (and locked the article, meaning no one can alter it) that the likes of Stefan Molyneux are white supremacists, which is a literal made up statement seeing as he never even insinuated anything of the sort. Even so, some of his quotes are there. Ripping apart the fabric that there is a white race is their goal. And as Orwell said: If you want to destroy a people, you destroy their identity. I was raised in the eighties, before all this rampant "feminiza" (Misspelled incorrectly on purpose, switch the 'a' and 'i' around) bull started. With three older sisters I was 'trained' at an early age to respect females, not because they CAN'T do something, but because I can help make a job easier by offering to lend a hand. I was taught that holding a door open for someone - regardless of gender, age or ethnic group - was respectful. I have both held a door open, and had them held opened for me. I've always responded with a 'thank you' and a smile. However, just a week ago, on December 22, I was at the local mall and got to the door first. I've always looked around to see how close the next person is before I go in. I held the door open for a lady [that looked around my age, but that's irrelevant] because a) she had a stroller, b) it was really cold and windy and c) she had a cell phone in her hand that was not pushing the stroller. She gave me a dirty look, spun the stroller around and hit the wheelchair button with her elbow next to the door I was holding open. I just shrugged and waited for the other three people - two male and a female - to go in the door I had open. Each of them said 'thanks!' and smiled. I noticed the inside wheelchair button didn't work as she hit it repeatedly, so I opened the inside door and held it open, too. She noticed this and gave me another dirty look. I waited a moment to see if she would take the offer, but instead she told the person she was talking to to 'hold on', and said to me, "I can get the door myself. I don't need someone like you to do it for me." (however with much more colourful words). Again, I shrugged, waited for other people to go through that had come in from the first set after me - again each of them saying thanks - and I went on my way. I heard her tell the person on the phone that "Some sexist a-hole thinks I don't know how to operate a door." before the door closed. As I was coming out of the shop I was in, I spotted an older lady talking to her. I only caught a portion of what she was saying. "[...]when some nice, young, man opens a door for you, it's not that he's being sexist or to tell you you're stupid. It's because he was raised right - to treat humans, regardless of what you have between your legs, with respect and dignity. You should be ashamed of yourself, young lady. [...]" (Paraphrased) That elder lady was my hero of the day.

I hate it when someone who is only smart in one direction thinks it applies to everything else. She claimed she knew the ECM's strategy in the car by using the word "should". I told her it doesn't set that code based on that. "Yes it does. Don't talk down to me like that. I program computers every day." "With what? C++, visual basic, visual C, assembler, machine language, java, python, fortran?" "How do you know about those?" "Because I have to deal with the end result of those languages......fuzzy logic. Except fortran, which sucks. And my skills are not limited to my job, which is a love of problem solving. It's humans I don't get.....they're all crazy." Started to walk away. "Wait, where are you going? You're not done helping me." "You kept interrupting me. Can't force you to believe me. So we are done." I closed the overhead garage door, even though it was 96 deg F out, so her stubborn ass would get the message. Men who walk into the shop telling me how to do my job get the same treatment, only I am less patient. Never tell anyone how to do their job. It's asking for it.

Well there is an interesting take to it. I recently saw a video from Jordan B. Peterson in which he said (im simplifying) that "if someone can do it, let them do it themself." It was in regard of toddlers and elderly people. I think there is a balance in being respectful or nice and indicating that someone can't do it themself and taking it away from them although it might be something they want to do themself because they still can. As an example: I currently live in Austria and we had REALLY heavy snowfall a few weeks ago. When my 79yo neighbor started clearing his drive from roughly 60cm of snow i stepped out to help him. For me it would have been a matter of 15 min to clear it, but while we were talking and i was working i clearly felt that he was uncomfortable with me doing all the work and every few meters he grabbed the snow shovel and started doing it himself. So i let him do it in his slow pace until he was exhausted and then took it back to continue. We did this like 5 or 6 times before we were done and it took at least 40min but you could clearly feel that he enjoyed talking with me and that he wouldn't have liked it if i'd have done it all by myself. Edit: opening a door should be fine tho xD

I tried to help an old lady with heavy bags cross the street and she refused, mainly i think because she thought i would steal her stuff XD dunno really, but a lot of the old people in my country are somewhat afraid crossing the street on the crosswalk alone, since they move really slow and fear the drivers might become frustrated with them or not stop, so i deliberately walk super slow so they can pass without worries, but i never let them know i try to help them and they never say thanks, many things we do just come from genuinely wanting to help and no rewarding is necessary . I also noticed when helping old people that old ladies most of the times gladly accept the help or even expect younger people to help them, while older men don't, i think they still wanna feel useful and are somewhat "offended" when people assume they are unable to fend for themselves . It's honestly such a grey area, same as the whole sexism thing, i've been told multiple times that i'm so weak cause i am not able to open a jar of pickles, like bruh you either open it for me with your bare hands or i can use a knife to open it...same goes for lifting heavy stuff, if a man offers help or i ask for help, it shouldn't be sexist, as i return the favor but in a different context, using my own individual advantages, but most times when i try to return the favor, i am refused and the dude feels the need to say i am a girl and thus i need more help... So basically what i am trying to say with this, is that human interactions is such a complex area, when trying to help a lady carry heavy bags and she reacts negatively it could be that she is some feminazi or it could be that she was made fun of before for being weak and wants to just do it herself, also when guys open the door for ladies or try to help in various situations, most do it out of the goodness of their heart, but there are some who feel the need to express just how much that help was needed and kinda give a vibe like you're some incapable human being. In the end, just accept the help, teamwork op and life's too short to constantly try to prove a point.

I worked at officemax with a radical feminist in 2002. Guy was buying a desk. I asked if she wanted help and she snapped at me that she could do it herself. I just laughed and walked away. 5 minutes later she came to me and demanded help while I was helping a customer in electronics. I said “ you said you had it. You’ll have to ask someone else. I’m busy with a customer.” 20 mins later I’m being called to the managers office because I “refused” to help her. I explained to my boss how she treated me (asst manager and she was female) figuring I was fkd either way. I was very surprised when she left the office to talk to the customers ( both the furniture customer and the electronic customer) to get the whole scoop. Needless to say, this girl got fired and on her way out the door she called the asst manager a c word and traitor to women. LoL I left Officemax in 2003 because of this same manager( lack of scheduled hours) but we still see each other occasionally and I always tell her thank you for not just buying the BS. Too many times I’ve seen that not happen in a few places I’ve worked. Oddly enough I didn’t share this to rag on feminists, but to show that not all women buy into the bullshit. :)

I work for an airline and back in 1999 i was at work standing in the airplane and chatting to some of the crew. A colleague (Australian) who was about 160 cms tall was trying to reach a container which was about 2 meters from the floor. That container was approximately 40 to 45 kgs. I noticed she was struggling to reach so while talking and not even thinking I pulled it for her. She totally freaked out. She said: " what the F... do you think you're doing?". I was shocked. I said I'm helping you. She said:"well that's just rude, who do you think you are? In my culture you have to ask before offering to help and just because i am a woman it doesn't mean i need your help and if i need your help I'll ask you..." and she went on and on. So i said listen in my culture if i see anyone struggling to reach or lift specially a lady and if i don't assist that makes me a lazy disrespectful ahole and with this attitude you're showing please don't ask for my help because you won't get it anymore. She freaked out even more and i got called that day, myself and my countrymen, a bunch of "chauvinistic pigs"... All this because i helped and probably saved her from a back injury. I had never thought of it that way, that helping a lady means that i am showing her that i am stronger than her and that she's incapable. It was just a reflex. A couple of years after that i was a helping a family sit together and next to that family there was a lady. I asked her nicely if she's ok to move to allow the father to sit with his two little kids and wife. She refused and a lady sitting on the other side called me and stated that since i am looking to make a man "comfortable" and i asked a woman to move this makes me a woman hater and a sexist MF. 😱😱. However recently i was looking for a parking in a mall with my family and the lady in front of me was struggling to reverse into her parking spot. With those incidents described above in mind and many more over the years i decided to wait patiently and not even try to assist. The lady came out of the car and asked me to park her car because she is not great at it and she would appreciate the help. Asking for help is not a sign of weakness, offering to help someone who's struggling is not a sign of dominance. It's just f...ing help.

I’m a male boilermaker welder who worked with a female boilermaker in an underground mine, one job we had was to put Hardox liner plates in a apron feeder the plates were around 40kg each, I weighed 95kg and she weighed 60kg, PS totally different muscle mass! She Physically could not install the liners so I installed all the liners and she bolted them up from the back. The next day was the same thing I installed the liners she bolted them, on the third day I asked her to try to install the liners because I was getting fatigued and she said she couldn’t they are to heavy! So I had to do it again. The next day I asked my manager if I can work with somebody else today and he wanted to know why? so to be nice I didn’t say my Colleague wasn’t strong enough to do the job and get her in trouble I just said mixing up the work crews help keeping your mind fresh! He said “I’ll get back to you”, the next day I got called in the office and was informed that when my female colleague was informed of my request to change crew she then made Accusations of sexist and hostile work environment!!! Saying I wanted to do everything myself and didn’t let her even try to do the Physical Portion of the job!!!!!!! I was gob smacked!! Needless to say my request was denied and I was informed that I need to work with her and i will need to change my attitude of working with women!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now how can this be right I’m thinking’ Well ok let’s do it! On our second last shift I was Courteous and respectful but I didn’t want to be sexist so I grabbed the nuts and waited for the first liner plate to be put in position she struggled but got it in place, 29 more to go! So buy the end of the shift we still had 5 more liners to install but it is what it is. The last day she requested a crew change and it was approved apparently I was working her to hard, so there you go!! Who is the one playing on gender?

"Hey partner, my back is killing me after 3 days in a row, and it would be dangerous for someone your size to lift those liners, why dont WE go to the boss and see if I can swap with someone who bolted today and have them lift the liners for you tomorrow?" It prevents the boss from suspecting you have a problem with each other. It prevents her from being defensive when the boss comes to her from out of the blue asking her why you want to change work partners.

I'm at least somewhat conflicted, but I can't definitively rule out some component of nature and would note the relative lack of criticism on action flowing the other way. A woman exhibiting a somewhat maternal care (that arguably constructed a dude into the role of child) wouldn't be necessarily denounced and gendered assumptions regarding specific competencies wouldn't be regarded as indicative of intent or toxic. I'd note feminist works that assert that men are emotionally stunted and need saving presumably by them. Any assistance or criticism implies - at least in a limited way - an assumption of power. it also relies on subjective assessment of the split. If there's a gender split on assumed skills (Etc), then I'd contest that opening doors has less value that mothering. In education, there's an assumption that STEM is the real work and that women getting into the humanities somehow relates to a negative self perception. I'd rather be good at the humanities than STEM. (getting a STEM degree for me was a fallback and profound compromise). Is the feminine paradigm lesser than the masculine? Certainly in the court system, there are suggestions that if a traditional couple are contesting custody, a provider doesn't win out over a caregiver*. That's not a trivial assessment of relative importance in society. A woman can approach a lost child. A man in the same situation will be treated with suspicion and forced to repress an element of his humanity. * I'd note the trope of the "deadbeat dad"

As a woman in STEM, there are times where men have attempted to offer help for something because they assume I'm unable simply because I am a woman. However, these interactions are in no way the majority or representative of why men offer to help. The problem with feminists who claim to fight for women like me is they conflate a minority of men with the majority. Most of them are just trying to be polite and offer assistance. That's so stupid 😢 I live in an apartment building and when I'm coming home from school I always hold the door open for the rest, if I get to the door first. If I didn't get there first most of the time someone else would be holding it open for me. Sometimes female and sometimes male (usually the same female and male.) I would never think the male is holding it for me just because I'm female, because I hold the door open for people all the time regardless of gender. Plus even if it was because I'm female, some were taught that's a good thing, and as long as they have good intentions its fine. One time someone held the door open for me and she got really mad when I didn't say thank you because she was holding a lot of stuff too. The thing is I did say thank you, she just didn't hear it because I have anxiety. When I'm anxious sometimes anything I try to say come out as a whisper.

I was walking down my street and I happened upon a woman trying to back her car with a small trailer into her driveway.....without any luck. So, I did the proper thing as a man. I started laughing, shook my head, ruefully, turned and went on my merry way. I didn't want to insult her by showing how inadequate she was. That would have been rude. Of course, I offered to back it in for her. I'm an old farm boy and we learned the trick of it when we're in our young teens. She was extremely grateful, fairly gushed with gratitude and even offered me a drink. A few weeks later, I was walking by and she called me over and introduced me to her husband, saying that I was the guy that helped her out. He thanked me and offered me a drink and this time, I accepted. It seems that there are people out there that just don't know how to behave in a civil society.

I've read a very poetic comparison on traditional masculinity in the modern world; It's like a wild animal, like a deer or a wolf. Most people have never seen it in real life. Because while it's not dead, there aren't many examples left, and those have retreated to places that the modern world hasn't conquered yet. So if you want to find it, you won't find it in society. You'll have to go out into the wild (a phrase that can be taken metaphorically as well as literally in this context), and you'll have to search for quiet a long time.

A few days ago I was awoken by my wife and told my (21 year old) daughter needed my help immediately at 12:25AM. I got up and grabbed a shoe. Why? Well, on my way to see what my daughter was so distraught over (she's freaking out! ) as my wife offered me a flip flop to which I showed her my walking shoe, she smiled. My daughter had got home late and was brushing her teeth when she noticed a rather large Wolf Spider on the shower curtain. From front feet to back it was about two inches long. Took me a minute to see it, as it was perfectly camouflaged with the print on the shower curtain. I dutifully dispatched the creature and then went back to bed. My daughter retreated to her bedroom and left the light on all night armed with two of our cats. 😀

In a classical music KZbin video I read the comment in the comment section of a pregnant woman who said she was playing the music to her unborn baby in her womb. I knew about the harmful effects of wireless microwave radiation that comes out of wireless devices especially in relation to exposing children and so I politely greeted her, warned her about the potential harmful effects in relation to things like cancer and gave the documentary Resonance Beings of Frequency to watch and guided her to researchers such as Devra David and Martin Blanc. She then gave a like to my comment I suppose to acknowledge that she read what I wrote and then another woman very soon entered the conversation box and told me to leave her alone because it's her body and her baby. I was so angry and pointed out to her that she was treating me like a criminal for wanting to defend an unborn child against harmful technology by warning the child's mother against it and she said, "It doesn't matter! Leave her alone!" If I was a woman, I would never have been morally condemned for wanting to protect babies!

@@kzizzles8329 It is serious - a man holding a door of a woman is male subjugation of a woman or rape.

Whilst leaving a department store, as I opened the heavy outer doors, I noticed a woman walking behind be, loaded with shopping bags..... Naturally I waited for her, holding the door open for her...... WHAT A MASSIVE MISTAKE!...... I was met by "If I wanted YOU to open the door for ME, I'd have asked.......". Soooo....... I just let the door go and it crashed into her, scattering her shopping on the floor.... I'd have helped her pick it up, but hey, once bitten and all that..... Unfortunately now I will just not help...... which is sad, but it's where we are. My partner loves how I respectfully help whenever I can and shock horror ,she also helps me...... it's called Mutual Respect....... It's nothing to do with the person being a Woman.......... it's to do with common courtesy to ALL....... I'd even open a door for an animal.... We live in freaky, sick and twisted times, for sure....

My wife is always asking me to get things down from the top shelf. Now I wonder what that really means in the dark recesses of our relationship. Should I ask a feminist to 'splain it to me?

I did an experiment in 2007. I opened the door for 50 women, 50 men and 50 couples WOMEN: 38 women said nothing, 9 thanked me, 2 gave dirty looks and 1 touched my arm with a smile as she passed. MEN: 21 nodded like men do to each other, 13 men thanked me, 11 said nothing, 4 gave odd looks, 1 struck up a conversation with me. Male/Female COUPLES: 23 couples the man thanked me, 20 couples the woman thanked me, 6 said nothing and 1 couple both the man and woman thanked me.

Hey I like having doors opened for me , men have done that since I was young I enjoyed that myself . Women , it's alright to be dependent sometimes to know how to survive in case of losing husband or health issues, but there's nothing wrong in being and acting ,talking like a female. Manners has no age or gender limit. Respect the differences, enjoy the good things in life.

Same here. Some women really seem to struggle with this. I'm guessing because they were raised in pure selfishness, therefore they can't help thinking a person doing a nice thing for them had an agenda or ulterior motive. No lady, the guy behind you is 6'6 and has no neck, he looks like he could rip the fucking door off it's hinges. I'll hold it open for him too. I'm not trying to get into his pants, or yours either. Believe it or not.
