To me, a tell-tale sign of greatness is when a singer like Sydney is able to end quietly with the audience so quiet you could hear a pin drop. BGT audiences tend to be raucous, but to get them to feel the song and her message so well that they are absolutely silent in that quiet, emotionally exposed place, speaks volumes. Well done!

From start to finish, this is my all time favorite audition on any talent show. Talk about someone who is easy to pull for, she comes out and in two minutes has us all eating out of her hand. So accessable, affable, humble, lovely, incredibly funny, and massively talented. Sydnie is the total package, and my pick to win it all. It will be hard to follow an audition like this, so song choice is enormously important. I'm hoping for "She Used to Be Mine". I think she would totally kill that song, and have us all sobbing. @haraldfaber6452 I have. She's very good. I still have to go with Sydnie. Sydnie has a finer, better controlled variability in what she does. She also puts emotion into a song and connects with her audience better. I certainly don't take anything away from Lauren's tremendous ability, I just see Sydnie as a more complete stage performer. @@matthewjensen8623a good sentiment but it's a little more complicated than that. I mean that respectively. The hardest part for me in dealing with depression is the feelings of isolation it creates and then the numb feeling nothing not even caring enough to ear, the inability to sleep that compounds everything. My advice is if you know someone that suffers from depression isn't telling Jesus loves them but showing them you do, be a true example of Christian love and you'll show them that Jesus loves them too.

It takes the interruption out of your react - I mean - any pause in this brilliant performance feels almost cruel (lol!) cuz she is so good BUT your style of reacting has won me over. Had Sydnie sang Tomorrow straight up, as a kid's song of ultimate optimism, it would have been terrific, givenher personality, tone, timbre, tremolo, vibrato, and power. But of course, being Sydnie, she made it a quite different song, of optimism transformed into pessimism, a very personal interpretation based on her failed career in musical theatre. Notice the last verse, where she drops the volume and pace, watch her facial expressions and body movements, and the change from "only" a day away to "always" a day away. Consider also that this is her first appearance of Sydnie as Sydnie, not 18 years of other theatre characters. This whole experience of audition and performances allows Sydnie to explode onto the music scene, I hope never to return to the theatre--concert stage all the way where her personality and performance skills, not to mention her adaptations, will put her in the same stratosphere as Celine and Barbra.

Check out her mannerisms and body language, especially after the buzzer with the fist pump and kick, her stature, body language and mannerisms remind me of Suzy Quatro, who saw me thru puberty in the’70s..🤔🤔😜 all she needs is a black and yellow bell bottom jump suit to be the next “female Elvis” 🤩and the surprised look to the left at the audience after the first Diminished “tomorrow “ as if to say, “What happened to my voice… are You Surprised too?” And then a slight build and the whisper finish.. Total Manipulation! That’s what an audience Pays For. 👍 Makes me wish I was 45 years younger.🤣😹

She acts the song, starting with a type of wishing for it. Then as her voice grows and comes from a deeper place, probably where hope lives. She grows there and desires us to grow in the hope that could be. And you ask the question, 'Could there honestly be a way?' Dare I actually hope for something better? Then she really does 'stick out her chin' and say the biggest YES! that could ever be said or sung. And by the end, the product is evident. And yes, quietly, hope truly is possible. And we, the audience have received from her, what she earnestly wanted to birth in us.....Hope. And boy, do we ever need it now! Well done Sydnie, and thank you so much. Your last name fits so perfectly. I mean what better hope for the child of all ages, than the hope of Christmas. What a blessing you are! And the audience display showed, how very hungry they were, we were to receive your gift of HOPE.💖

When Sydnie took the stage, I thought she appeared to be an easy going quirky young lady. Enter a smile. Then, she started her humorous banter, without any of the typical drivel or drama, with the judges and my smile incorporated laughter. She named her song and I thought "uh, oh," remembering Simon's dislike for it. Then, she began to sing. I got chills, an incredible wave of emotion and tears. She changed one word in the lyrics to change the feel of the song. The line "only a day away' had the word "only" substituted by "always." The kid's song from Annie is not supposed to do all of that. This is a mature, grownup version. I will never think of "Tomorrow" in the same light. Sydnie set the bar. WOW! Theater awaits, or any other arena. That girl has personality and pipes! BTW, the overlaid "Over The Rainbow" is performed by Loren Allred. BTW, while I enjoyed your reaction and comments, I cannot believe you cut the judges' comments!!
