The pricing on this is absolutely disgusting. There used to be a time when device compatibility was a selling feature, but that time is dead. It's tied to the TV, and there is no guarantee that once you pay for the license, that they won't revoke it a few years down the line and move to a subscription model in the future.

Only works with SPECIFIC Samsung TV's be careful even if the TV is 2024. Samsung website says its only support on Samsung Smart TV models Q60 and above. Support may vary depending on region and model.

I wonder if this would automatically adjust the view to the lights around, meaning with sync box, there is always a chance that setup will not go 100% accurate.

Do I need to connect chromcast 4k or firestick straight to sync plilips box so it can sync the lights with my Sony Google tv? Chromcast was working good but now it keeps on disconecting and have to unplug and plug it back in so it can work. I bought another cromcast and it was the same thing so I'm thinking is the sync box🥺

Bought the app so I could have the lights connected to the smart apps. Already owned a sync box. Samsung app refused to find the hue box. Factory reset bridge several times. Second option of searching ip adress doesn’t even allow you to put it in correctly. Total waste of money

This is the absolut worst trash I have ever witnessed, I have now lost ALL credibility towards Philips aswell as Samsung for scamming their customers. To pay this ridiculous amount for only a piece of simple software is beyond any reasoning. This should be made illegal in my opinion, you should have functionality according to price, so if you ask this much money you need to have alot of good reasons for it, this is monopoly playing with a 12 years old. Samsung and Philips should be ashamed of themselves for being so incredibly unprofessional and dirty.

If not the app, then you can buy the more expensive box, and add more cables. The app is cheaper and cleaner. Companies have to make money some how.
