Every time I watch/listen to this synth, at first I'm like, "I'm good. I don't need this." Then that damn chorus gets turned on. Instant sonic joy.

Chorus is cool, but sound is very far from Moog, check this video. Differences are so big like price between them - kzbin.info/www/bejne/iWaWYq2alqqjebs
@GuyGamer15 жыл бұрын
@@TheMrFinalizer The Behringer is identical to the Moog. They literally have the exact same circuits. There's a very slight difference in filter resonance, but even two real mini moogs will sound slightly different because they're analog. It's not "very far", it's "very close". See this direct comparison... kzbin.info/www/bejne/lWeYop2AeZdppc0 Sounds like you're in denial that you spent 10 times more than you needed to on a functionally identical product. The only thing the Moog has going for it is build quality - made in the USA.

Hi Matt. I asked a few days ago about the pitch bend control. I found that app, but have 0 clue what to do with it. It says something about pushing the wheel to it's minimum/maximum position, and then doing something with the shift button until the LEDs light up. Again, I have no clue how to get that to work. Could you please help me out?

Once,… Just once,… I would like to hear these Minimoog Emulators do the ‘Actual’ sound that it was famous for,.. Instead of sounding like every other Vsynth on the market..
@zibbybone5 жыл бұрын
This video's purpose is to demonstrate the E520 FX processor, not the synth.
@NickHchaos5 жыл бұрын
Learn Something yep. You gotta go to AJH Synth for that. Their VCOs erased any desire to own a real D. This sounds much weaker and higher in the mid-high frequencies than their modules.
@learnmusic4885 жыл бұрын
Nick Herman Holy shit VERY impressive... such an ever-so-slight difference between the AJH and the Minimoog... (if it wasn’t quickly A/B’d like on their demonstration video,…I would swear it was the same synth..) However on their demonstration video, I still didn’t hear them do the “classic solo sound”... Listen to anything Jan Hammer, Stu Goldberg, or Kit Watkins from the 70s, and THAT’S the sound I mean... I maintain that I have NOT heard any knockoff emulation today do ‘that sound’ the way the D does it..
@NickHchaos5 жыл бұрын
@@learnmusic488 Yeah, they'll always be differences, but it sounds good enough for me :) To that I'll add I own a bunch of ladder inspired Moog filters..but I actually didn't see any reason to own the Moog clone/AJH one itself. For that that takes the concept further, and then some, Check out the ACL Discrete Core Ladder VCF.
