I am not sure, who is the bully here. If You are the coach, thats it. You make decision whether to accept to train the person or not. After that, You do not push your personal life-philosophy to Your students. This is not fair, that as professional coach, You actually do not accept the person and nevertheless start to co-operate and during this You attack Your student with all Your physical and mental strength. Fair thing would be, that coach should say at the beginning, that this is not acceptable and the deal is off until no criterias of club and coach are obeyed. Thats it. No professional behavior by coach, in my oppinion.

I have broke my hand, dislocated multiple fingers, broke my nose, dislocated my eye socket, and done similar damage to others. There was some nights I remember going to the boxing but woke up in bed the next day - Head trauma? Concussion? You cannot walk into a boxing gym and just call people out. The people in there do nothing but beat the shit out of each other week, after week. It takes a certain resilience and mentality to keep coming back to that. Most people quit as soon as they get hurt. I only use to do 3 rounds but I was tired despite exceptional fitness. Cardio is key. When I first started boxing I was like WTF we gotta go running for 😂 quickly found out why. Became the best fighter at my gym at 14 years old. Coach would let us taller kids with skills spar with the pro boxers at the gym. My first fight I fought a 17 year old. Broke the kids nose had his eyes swelling shut. They stopped it in the second round. Back it the locker room he asked how old I was...man the look on his face was so depressing when I told him I was 14. Never saw him at the Golden Gloves again.

@@Chesswitharacket You may want to watch the video again. Dude was NOT paying for a lesson, he was just being a dick. Sure he said he wants to learn, but you can hear in his voice that the only reason he said that (at the last minute) was because he was pissing his pants. The coach was very generous with this idiot. There were several times that dude could have said "OK, you're right, I was being a dick." but, NOOOOO he had to keep leading his head into the coach's fist. The antagonistic nature of the coach's banter was obviously deliberate and clearly meant to add to the educational process; it was not actual 'shit talking'.
