火锅英文本来就是Steamboat / Hotpot啊~🤣😅 [ Hot pot or hotpot, also known as soup-food or steamboat, is a cooking method that originates from China, prepared with a simmering pot of soup stock at the dining table, containing a variety of Chinese foodstuffs and ingredients ]
Steamboat is a style of cooking in Malaysia, where the food is usually fresh on the table and you cook it by soaking it in a cauldron in the center of the table. The cauldron has a chimney inbuilt into the center, where wisp of steam and heat exit. So we call it steamboat. I think not only we Malaysian Chinese also called it steamboat but Malays here also called it stimbot.

过后才知道就是我砂拉越中区的o beng(过后才知道砂拉越不同城市叫法稍微不同)
