அய்யா திரு. மருதையன் அவர்களின் ஆழ்ந்த புலமைக்கு மிக்க நன்றி. இவ்வளவு கடலளவு இசை விபரங்களை அள்ளி வழங்கிய அவரது ஆய்வறிவுக்கு வாழ்த்துக்கள். சங்கீத மேதைகளுக்கு இருக்கிற அத்தனை ஞானமும் தமிழ் மக்களுக்கு பிறவியிலேயே உண்டு. அதை வளர்த்துக் கொள்ள நமக்குத் தேவையான பொருளாதார பின்புலம் இல்லை. தமிழிசை மரபைக் காப்பாற்ற நமக்கு அரசுகள் மூலம் குறைந்த கட்டணத்தில் பள்ளி கல்லூரிகளிலிருந்தே கற்பித்து தமிழிசை மரபைக் காப்பாற்றி இருக்க வேண்டும். நமது தமிழ் மண்ணில் முன்னோர்கள் உருவாக்கிய விலை மதிக்க முடியாத தமிழிசையின் இசை இலக்கணத்தை வேற்று மொழியில் பாடங்களாக்கி நமது தமிழிசையை நமக்கு அந்நியப்படுத்தி விட்டார்கள். டி. எம். கிருஷ்ணா அவர்கள் மூலம் வெளிச்சத்திற்கு வந்திருக்கிறது. இரண்டாயிரம் ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பே இருந்த தமிழிசை மரபு சிலப்பதிகாரத்திற்குப் பின் நமக்கு கற்றுத் தருவாரின்றி மரபைக் காப்பாற்றத் தவறியுள்ளோம். அதன் பின் வந்த பிற மொழி ஆட்சியாளர்களால் திட்டமிட்டே தமிழிசை மறைக்கப் பட்டிருக்கிறது.

For decades only in TN, Brahmin-baiting has been around without any break. For almost a day media like this one telecasts this kind of interview to target a small section of the community. The guest and host can just cover the important aspects of mirthangam making without using degrading remarks on the entire community all under the pretext of "Free Speech". Such people are a blot on a civilized society, because they are the ones promoting caste disparity. A healthy debate on the subject will get the attention of the audience, not thid kind of biased discussion laced with hatred.

Very few people listen to Carnatic music these days and no one ever restricted anyone to learn that music. Most movie songs are composed with Carnatic music as base. None of those music directors are Brahmins. This TN Krishna issue is certainly not between Brahmins vs non Brahmins like how this idiot trying to confuse people for his anti-Brahmin mindset. Everyone always trying to find some issue and make it as hate to Brahmins!. TN Krishna boycotted music academy for 10 years saying they are supporting only certain people to perform, but shamelessly accepting this award when they gave him. He is a fake activist and lot of people don’t know he is also part of other organizations that show india in a bad light abroad. So, something else is going on and it has nothing to do with Brahmin and non Brahmin.
