Yes, it looks like your channel grew very fast. It’s lovely to watch you because your are very lovely. Your delight in doing the videos is infectious. Thank you for making this video. When I was a young teen, I got stuck in an algebra class. I failed because I couldn’t imagine those invisible numbers. I did very well with practical math which included sewing and cooking. With sewing, you need geometry. With cooking, fractions. I can also do percentages because I needed to calculate sale prices. Watching you create the soft pages, I recalled the fun of sewing geometry. I could also imagine the feel of muslin (US for UK calico). I think you must of washed it, because it looked very soft. Anyway, thanks for the how-to because I needed to see how you made your stitch book. The slot and tab method is genius, and is another thing I’ll have to research. You are a fabulous teacher. Thank you!💕

Thank you so much Mara. It's amazing how maths is in everything and yet school can make it seem so dry and boring and take all the fun out of it! We all use practical maths every day I think.... Thank you for watching my videos. I've learned lots about doing them already.

Finding your channel a year or more in I'm going to have to look for the other episodes leading up to this point in the raven's progress. Wow! I'm just skipping around trying to catch up. I remember seeing a bit about the Viking ship in your room tour video, but I'll have to keep a watch out for any more information on that, as well. It really is Marion's World. I get so excited when I see the notice for a new video because your excitement is infectious!! Also I am quarantined with the latest COVID bug going around the US- and I was so over the whole thing more than a year ago!!But I will be fighting fit for when you start the next book because I want to share the excitement and learn more. Your tutorials are pragmatic and clear-with the added touch of your years of experience. I’m dumbfounded that you sew linen garments- I love it !I didn’t remember that I had looked into Anne Woods 100 day challenge- I LOVE the look of her work but I just can’t replicate it- so I didn’t try the project. It is so evident ( to me) what page in your book that you started stitching what is in your heart and soul using her guidelines and inspiration! That is every teacher’s hope- to dream up the experience and see everyone take flight!! And now you will gather fledglings and on it goes!! I’ve watched UTube videos for 3 years now and have only commented one or two times- I decided that if you were brave enough to make them I could be brave enough to be one of your cheerleaders! Great fun for both of us! Can’t wait to see your creative space- already love all of the stones on the window ledge.

@@maramakesjournals2319 Gosh -I’m so sorry to alarm you about Covid- I’m in North East Indiana- my friend thinks she got it while waiting in the Indianapolis airport. She and her guest visited me- then I got it -her guest returned home and now has it. I’ve had 3 vaccines- last one was 2/21- I got Paxlovid -Rx the same day I tested positive- which was last Friday I’m almost over it symptom wise- today( Monday)- of course I’ll still quarantine and I’m 77 so still take it easy for another week - I have learned to respect the power of viruses!! I’m not sure what is going on as far as “it “going around again- I read on the CDC website that there was a new strain detected in January. I quit watching television about two years ago- so I don’t really know what’s happening- it’s for my mental health- I find it much more productive to seek out lovely U tube channels like Marion’s World!! Hello Diane. What a wonderful message you've sent me, thank you. Other than the fact you're poorly with Covid that is. I hope you're not too ill with it? I'm lucky that I haven't had it at all. At the beginning I was still running my gardening business so mainly worked on my own in people's gardens. They used to wave to me through their windows whilst I worked. My sister was in a bubble with my husband and myself and we didn't see anyone else. I feel as if we're going to be on an adventure together Diane... I've only just started watching other videos now... I didn't really have any interest before. I think I'm just emerging into the online world at the moment.... The stones on the window sill are actually flint tools. I learned how to knap flint and made a hand axe and scrapers as if I was in the stone age! Super interesting too... Thank you very much for being my cheerleader too!

Thanks Tracy. I've always got a few projects on the go at the same time. There's quite a choice of things at the moment. You'll probably see them in a week or so.
