Did I see roots at the base of your chives that Satoshi cut off? Put that in a pot of soil and it will grow chives. Let it flower or divide it and you can get more pots of chives. Chives do not need much sun to grow. You can do the same thing with geeen onions. Each garlic clove you can grow. Even if you do not get good bulbs after winter, the entire garlic plant is edible and tastes like garlic.

Great recipe! I also loved the idea of a cook-off between Drew and you guys! With drinks, of course! 🍻😋

Missed the livestream, but so nice to watch it now! Very entertaining and funny to watch you busy. It definitely keeps us away from the dark places in our head like Shinishi said at the end. THANX ❤

Loving these streams. I have missed some live but it's a great thing to wake up with while I have my coffee and breakfast. 😁

I've only ever seen that kind of chives once at my local grocery store. The chives that are primarily sold in the US are the thinner more delicate chives. They aren't very pungent and taste mostly of onion They aren't usually very cheap either since they are $2 to $3 for a small plastic clamshell.

Thank you for the live streams. Idaho self isolation has been extended to April 30. These videos help me out so I don’t get so bored.

I believe the type of chives used in this recipe are what are commonly known as Chinese chives. They are much stronger and larger than chives we have in the US or Europe.

Hello S&S, I have a video suggestion. I was in Japan for new years and purchased some salted Ume flowers. It’s a seasonal kind of ingredient. Maybe you can do video on recipes where you can use such niche ingredient that is more Japanese focused. Feel better. I hope your throat clears up. Cheers and much love from NY -Ken

We have decided to get tested for anti-body in a week to see if what we had in January may have been sars-cov2. Like you, i had very strange sore throat. There is some speculation that many people from silicon valley attended Vegas electronics show in early January with many from China as well and could have seeded our area in January.

It reminds me of when I was broke and used eggroll wrappers instead of lasagna sheets. It worked quite well for a tiny lasagna for one. 😂
