Piano hinge would be great to hold support. Folds up for storage. Folds down to use as support.

That's a good idea. I thought about a piano hinge, but wanted to keep the ability to separate the boards in the trailer. Thanks for sharing. Do you do a lot of fabrication or woodworking?

@@AdventureswithRedbeard not a lot but when I need something I usually try to come up with something myself. It's cheeper and better quality than most the products you can buy.

I don't yet. Seems like every time I go, something is different. I'm trying to optimize my trailer and packing.

Kind of interesting really? You buy a trailer that’s got a really nice top already built-in to use as a table. Why would you need another table?

Good question. When I used my trailer as a table for my camp stove I needed to open the trailer to get all the things I left. It also didn't work great for me with the rails. Is using your trailer as a table working great for you?

@@AdventureswithRedbeard absolutely. I just make sure that my camp is set up and I don’t need to get in the trailer for anything right away. Of course, most of the time I’ve got a picnic table to use, which is really nice but when I don’t have one the top of the trailer works absolutely excellent.😊

@@jeffreyengle2762 I'm too forgetful. Every time I tried it, I had to open my trailer multiple times with a hot camp stove on top. I guess it was easier for me to build something that remember everything I need. 😁 I've also used this table to cook and eat at rest areas and quick overnights where I didn't fully set up camp, so having the trailer lid open and the table was more necessary. If I'm staying at campgrounds I usually don't bring the table. Which trailer do you have?
