Hi, What an amazing build project for the workshop, a table saw and router table combined this would look great and very useful in any workshop. The electrics for both tools powered off the same cable that is plugged in to the socket , which is fine, because you can only use one at a time especially with the dust extraction on, cant wait to to your next project, Take care

Nice work on the piece, Captain. I’ve never been the guy to combine the router table to the table saw, but I can certainly see the merits.

Yeah it works well in my small shop. Especially on wheels. I think if I had more space I might have them separate.

That looks absolutely brilliant. I need that in my workshop! Lots of ideas there for me to use - love the overhead crown guard gizmo 👍

Yeah that worked out really well for something that came together from scraps with no plan! 😂

This project looks amazing and the whole channel has provided so much inspiration while I try to re-organise my workshop to start woodworking.

That’s awesome to hear. Glad it’s helping someone out there. Once I post a video I never really know how or if it’s useful to anyone unless somebody like you leaves a comment. Thank you very much!

Rings, Watches and loose jumpers/Hoodies have all taken people into machines... As a machinist in the Aircraft Industry for many years, I have seen all sorts of injury. Play Safe(r)... Bob (Weston super Mare)

I hear you Rob. And you’re right that all these things present a risk. I’ll be doing a video on safety at some point. One of the things worth mentioning though is although you should be aware of the risks and the possible injury. It’s ultimately up to the user whether they take those risks. This does mean that you have to accept that you’re solely to blame if/when something goes wrong.

16:49 I’m in my shop working alone while I have this on, and your whistling really threw me off. I thought some suddenly came through the door.😅

Hahaha! Yeah people either hate or love whistling. I do it almost subconsciously when I’m happily concentrating and in a good flow!

@@CaptainofmyShed Totally understand. If I recorded myself while doing good work, it would be a sadly out of tune rendition of Life of Mars.
