this series is the reason i have been getting into match and feeder fishing. i caught over 100lbs of carp in 6 hours just by using your tactis on pole fishing. love this. id love too see pole fishing on the underwater.

Every episode confirms more and more what i always was thinking about certain aspects of the method/hybrid feeder. On other parts its the oppositie of what i always thought and was told through the years (even from pro's) so lot to learn from this. Brilliant series, we need way more episodes cause i still have a lot of questions lol. Also glad we finally have a proper modern version of the old Underwater Feeder Fishing video with Phil Ringer from like 15 years ago. Good stuff!

The qm1 hooks are sick tbf i had 4 bream and a roach on 1 today out the canal just tied to a main line not even on a hair rig there like barbed hooks aint coming out

I went from using rigs. And averaging about 4 to 6 fish. In a 1pm.till 7pm session to using the method feeder. And catching countless amounts and some quality fish to Iyl be back there soon 🤞 🎣

I think pink remindes carp of earthworm, so they go after it. If all baits fail, piece of worm can get u a bite everytime.

wow no3 and after watching I will stick to micro and ground bait mix using the same colour pellet at 6 to 8 mil 25 grams method open feeder 4inch line two fishing lines 5 loaded methods to start with and sometimes fish the short line with a waggler and I always bag up but thank you for all your efforts but for me I must stick with what works for me kind regards Mr D

I wonder if it’s flavour or visuals with the pink? Seems to me to be visuals. I’m still very surprised they don’t take it all in one mouthful, even the smaller carp would be able to… My final point, there is a vast difference between hookbait wafting and the density of the pellets. Imagine how amazing it’d be if you could get critically balanced pellets that sink but are more buoyant

Great video's really learned a lot would been interesting in the bait change to try a matching bait like a 6mm pellet then try a 8mm and see if see it and what the confidence of the fish would be like with a matching bait cheers for the video and tight lines

Hi John! All venues are different and bite times can be different on any venue you go to. A lot of venues bites tend to come within a window, for example anything from 5-8 minutes like you say. At this particular venue bites tended to come at anywhere up to around 20 minutes so leaving the feeder in the lake for any longer than 20 minutes was a waste of time 🙌

The method has a short hooklength and you get that bolt effect, it stands to reason that the bait feeder will work the same. I would have liked them to actually show the rigs instead of just rabbiting about them.

When a few of the best worldclass fisherman out there catching less then 25% of the feeding carp. I should be saying that method/hybridfeeder fishing is not very effective. However it is still the best way for catching carp, or is it ? Great series of vids. However it give's more questions then answers. And that is what fishing is all about. What happens under water and why ?

HI Mark in match fishing we don't tend to use bait boats in our fishing as its banned and its a lot slower than just casting out your bait. The same with drones. We wanted to recreate the same principal as what we would actually be doing in our style of fishing

I thought the interest was more about the activity of the fish and the breakdown of the pellets etc, the videos have been brilliant and very informative, casting in the wind on this latest episode seemed to have cost a lot of time. I really wasn’t being a smart arse… Great content and much appreciated

I loved the smugness of Steve Ringer... Leans back in the chair with arms behind his head.... I hate Hybrid feeders (unless targeting F1's) & I hate QM1's even more.. There are better/older hooks out there.. Not giving away my favourite pattern for the old style method. The more everyone else becomes obssessed with hybrid feeders.. The sooner all the other methods come back around.. Keep using your hybrid methods.. I won't buy any because I win plenty enough matches without them!! Tried and tested boys!!!!!!! The 20lber's at Barston aren't that fussy....😵‍💫😵‍💫

I have a Gizmo pro hook tyer from before his minor breakdown..... I couldn't give a t0ss what the pro's recommend... When I'm targeting munters, a 2/3" hooklength is the last thing I'd use... I'm more than happy using a massive xxl old style method, but only in 15g/20g with a 6" hooklength... And I catch more munters than everyone else. I love the look of Guru's kit... But the fish don't give a shite what colour my tackle is until they feel the point of my hook. All these recent underwater episodes, makes me want to try other approaches (colours/or presentation/not tightening up too much.. I might be moving it 2 foot!!) despite already framing everywhere I go despite average draws... I've loved these uploads for every second... Parts 1/2/3....... Keep'em coming.......................... Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
