Great video! Having my first kid and noticed the Tacoma isn’t the best “family” vehicle but we have to make due with what we got. This video was super helpful and wasn’t 20 minutes long of BS. **note to self … get a bigger truck

Thank you thank you! It’s definitely not the best for kids, we typically drive a Highlander or something else if we have both the kids, but I can get by with the truck. The one seat we run flipped around so that’s helped things, it’s the rear facing toddler seat that’s the worst on space.

Great video! So with Eternis car seat you were able to adjust the drivers seat to a comfortable position? Just want to make sure!
@PhilipBlank7 ай бұрын
Thank you! No, I put the Cybex on the passenger side as I am 6 ft but my wife is 5.8. It could fit on the driver side if you are shorter when it’s in reverse, but I wouldn’t go so far to say comfortably. My kid is big enough know for the seat to face forward, and this way it fits fine on both passenger and driver sides.

Is this a US or Canadian manufacturer ? US doesn’t have anchor points in back seats
@PhilipBlank2 ай бұрын
This is the US version, one made for the States but if you mean where it is produced it’s Baja California and San Antonio, not sure which mine is from.

Help! What is the seat depth???
@PhilipBlank3 ай бұрын
Happy to! But you’ll have to give me more details, are you wanting the depth of the rear bench sides or middle? And are you referring to just the depth of the bottom cushion to the back?

Not supposed to put a pad under the car seat
@PhilipBlank10 ай бұрын
Correct, good note! I was reading about this not long ago and pads are not used in the crash verification of car seats, so rarely manufactures certify one unless they made it themselves. Pads between the chair and car seat can change the crash behavior, so persons using them do so at their own risk.
