These amazing, cheesy, crispy and easy TACOS DORADOS DE CARNE MOLIDA Y PAPA is the dish you want to prepare when in a hurry or hungry, they are hearty, delicious and they are loved by both you and old. Some know these as FLAUTAS and some know them as TAQUITOS, it all depends on the region in which you live, when I use small size corn tortillas I call them TAQUITOS. They are delicious whether filled with chicken or beef and making them cheesy will take them to a whole new level, I deep fry them till crispy and golden brown, then lay them half in a pool of homeade salsa and then top them with crema, queso fresco and let them sit on the side of shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes and guacamole. These TAQUITOS DORADOS DE CARNE MOLIDA Y PAPA will impress your family and friends.
MEAT INGREDIENTS---------------------------
1 lb. very lean ground beef
2 medium/large gold potatoes (peeled&cubed)
1/2 medium diced onion
1 diced Roma tomato
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/4 tsp black pepper (you decide)
1 large minced garlic clove
salt to your liking
1 and 1/2 C. grated Oaxaca cheese
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
SALSA INGREDIENTS--------------------
3 large Roma tomatoes
1/4 small onion
1/3 yellow bell pepper
3 small serrano peppers
1 small jalapeno
3 medium garlic cloves
small bunch cilantro
1/4 tsp oregano
Salt to your liking
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
EXTRA INGREDIENTS AND TOPPINGS-------------
Corn tortillas as needed
chopped lettuce
crema as needed
Queso FRESCO as needed
salsa
guacamole
1 & 1/2 C. Canola oil for frying TAQUITOS

These recipes are worth a try, I LOVE the ones I have used, very simple and "step-by-step" just like she says, and they aren't difficult to follow recipes and the ones I have made so far have been a hit with my fam!!! I am so glad I found you on here, it is so hard to find videos that are actually realistic and easy to follow!! I am in Texas and I don't have a local Mexican/Tex-Mex restaurant that I like, and I don't drive to the next town 30 miles away to get food. Being in Texas, South Texas, and not having access to Mexican food when you want it is frustrating!!! I started watching and following your channel about a month or so ago and I LOVE IT!!!!! I started with the flour tortillas, I haven't mastered them yet, I've made them four times and my family LOVES them!!! The flavor is there and texture is great until they cool down overnight, they are still tasty but texture is not pliable anymore. Anyway, I know I just need to practice and my family will not complain lol. I have made the gorditas, carne guisada, Chalupas, and the loaded potato casserole and they are FANTASTIC recipes and easy to follow, and did I mention FANTASTIC lol, these recipes were all delicious and I am continuing tonight with the Tacos Dorados De Carne Molida Y Papa/Beef and Potato Flautas with Homemade Salsa and I can't wait!!! Tomorrow I plan on making the Chicken Flautas, the only reason I'm not tonight is because I have left over meat from the Chalupas......yummy!!!! THANKS RACHEL!!!!!
